  1. Matthew Pouliot doesn't realize that trading Jor Danks and Ramirez will negatively affect the re-signing of Viciedo and John Danks.
  2. Texas, NM, Ariz & Cali should be labeled "Mexicans" probably.

  4. QUOTE (buckweaver @ Jul 19, 2009 -> 10:08 AM) This seems an appropriate place to throw this into discussion. What about Zach Duke? I think if I were Kenny, I'd approach the Pirates and ask for Duke and Sanchez...see what they'd want. As McLouth is now in Atlanta, Anderson might be a great fit...along with Richard or Poreda (or both) and a prospect or two. I would personally consider including Getz in a deal like this, too. Not sure about Sanchez' age, but an infield of Beckham, Ramirez, Sanchez, Konerko is great. And if we'd just go after Duke alone, what about Anderson and choice of Richard/Poreda for him? My 2 cents into trade speculation. McCutcheon is their CF, I believe. Duke, Ohlendorf, Maholm, Hanrahan, and Karstens are all still young and cheap. I don't think that they'll be dealt for a few years.
  5. "Sweep the leg (and series), Jose-y."
  6. QUOTE (Lemon_44 @ Jul 19, 2009 -> 08:37 AM) With the trades the Pirates have been making maybe KW could get Duke for a package of BA, Lillibridge, and McCulloch. I highly doubt that. Anderson and Hudson maybe gets it done.
  7. I'd love to get Ohlendorf. He'd be so perfect for this rotation.
  8. QUOTE (santo=dorf @ Jul 18, 2009 -> 05:44 PM) He's also been booed off the stage in nearly 50% of his Guitar Hero games. That's because DeWayne Wise is his bassist.
  9. With Hardy, they'd have to take on $5 mil in salary.
  10. Hardy, McGehee, Gamel, Christopher Cody, Wily Peralta, and Parra?

    QUOTE (BobDylan @ Jul 18, 2009 -> 07:27 PM) Did they really make a Sherlock Holmes action movie? Jude Law & Robert Downey Jr., IIRC.
  12. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jul 18, 2009 -> 07:11 PM) We lost the division that year because that team underachieved, which is also why Jerry Manuel was fired. This will be a repeat in New York this season.

  16. Welcome to real mlb pitching, Wieters.
  17. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 18, 2009 -> 05:39 PM) because Cox sucked so bad last inning
  18. I had mlb.tv last season. I could watch them without blackout at home, but if I tried to at work (where I am blacked out) they blacked me out of Sox games everywhere (even at home) and I had to call them to take the block off.
  19. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Jul 18, 2009 -> 03:56 PM) Beckham in 2008: .281 AVG, .783 OPS, .338 wOBA, -5.8 UZR/150, $400K Huff in 2008: .261 AVG, .754 OPS, .316 wOBA, -4.4 UZR/150 (career number at 3B), $8M I meant possibly a better fielding 3B.
