Buster Olney was on Mike & Mike saying Anaheim is tried of the Manny drama and is waiting in the weeds on Kong....Olney seems to think Anaheim will offer Paulie more moeny than the Sox are willing to offer...hench he will end up with the Angels...TIFWIW though being that is Olney....

I am sure this won't be a popular thought but hell I will ask it anyway. What if the Sox were to possibly go after Corey Patterson? The kid has tons of talent and has a much better arm than most already being discussed. If they can put him in the 7 or 8 hole and take the pressure off of him maybe he would be able to produce. I'm not saying here, I'm just saying. Thoughts?

That is the scariest part of the Thome deal...seeing Pods playing in CF. With that rag arm and some of his bad reads...things could get ugly fast.

Shakira and Mariah Carey have always had such strong voices and sweet sounding as well...IMO Not to mention the overall range in both of their voices...

The team that really worries me about Kong is Boston. They have money to spend and I believe need a power bat, esp if Manny leaves...

A guy on Mac Jurko and Harry had an idea of going to Crawford or Gathwright instead of Pierre.....which either would cost a lot more than Pierre though...

I also think Borch should atleast get another look.... his defense is fairly solid and if he can hit 250 and get 20 + hrs...it wouldn't be terrible.

Wow losing Gio on top of this is kind of hard....but to get them to pay for a lot of his contract...you have to give up something.

Only thing I don't like about getting Pierre to play CF is his arm...between Him and Pods noodle arms people will be running all day.....

KW has done some amazing things...so I will keep the faith he knows what he is doing...

I bet Pierre won't be far behind...maybe not but I can't see them totally satisfied with BA in CF for next season...
