QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 03:02 PM) I think it might have been to keep the mob of Cleveland fans out. Maybe but you would have thought someone would have been near the door knowing the Bulls brass were coming
-
Farmio said on the radio someone was sick and now they are not sick... TIFWIW
-
Pretty classless of them to lock them out...IMO
-
QUOTE (kev211 @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 02:55 PM) Meeting is still happening so those were before when they were locked out I'd assume. Ah I thought it was already over with the tweet about the escalades...
-
They didn't look overly happy in those pictures....I assume those are b4 the meeting...

QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 01:14 PM) Either the Bulls or someone deeply invested in the success of the Bulls has more balls then I imagine. They gave Lebron a package at midnight and thet flat out challenged him to beat Jordan. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie Absolutely LOVE IT if its true they sent that to LBJ!

QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 11:33 AM) The score just reported that LBJ is going to address the crowd after he meets with the bulls, no word on what he is supposed to say. "I want to thank you all for being such great fans but I am going somewhere I might actually be able to win a championship"

QUOTE (scenario @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 09:26 AM) On the other hand... Wade is a pretty bright guy. I think he totally gets how unique this year and the options that may be available for him are... and that he owes it to himself to see what people will offer him. Exactly right... he knows how to work this. I don't blame him at all for it. Its how the game goes.

QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 08:11 AM) I've seen people say this or he's "playing" the Bulls, but what do you guys mean by that? Again, it's the NBA with a salary cap, everybody knows what money they're going to get from whatever team they go to and for Wade, if he really wants to stay in Miami it's not helping his situation to get other FAs there by what he is doing. I truly think what happened was he thought Miami was going to be destination #1 for FAs and they'd have their choice, with Amare apparently opting for the NYK, and Wojornowski (sp?) from Yahoo saying on B & B yesterday it doesn't look like LBJ will go to Miami, he realized that wasn't the case and looked at Miami's roster without another big FA and got some cold feet and was exploring options. The Bulls have a management team that have dealt with some of the biggest egos in the history of the NBA, I think they know all the possible scenarios. Also, these guys, meaning the players, have huge egos and like the attention. Maybe messin with them is the wrong way to put it. I just get the feeling Wade isn't leaving Miami and is just using the Bulls to put pressure on Miami to move on another FA...not meaning LBJ or Bosh but it was stated he was fairly upset they didn't get Amare and this is why the 2nd meeting happened. To me it sounds more like he is telling Miami get someone or I might walk....

I kind of get the feeling that Wade is just messin with the Bulls. I don't think he will actually leave Miami. Hope I am wrong....

QUOTE (Ozzie Ball @ Jul 2, 2010 -> 08:29 PM) Seriously? Rose is great but this is like asking if you would trade a dollar for a million, bazillion, trajillion dollars. Well there are a lot of people who are attached and sentimental about Rose that they wouldn't
-
Something that was raised on the Score... would you be willing to deal Rose to get Wade, LJB and Bosh??
-
I am not even getting my hopes up... No No No I will not do it.....
-
How much is Boozer lookin for?
-
Hawks trying to land 3rd line forward and dman .... my money is on Asham and Lebda.... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As well lock up Neimi and Hammer possibly today http://www.thefourthperiod.com/news/chi100702.html
-
I get the feeling Bron isn't coming here and the Bulls will have to scramble to sign Boozer and someone like Lee....I hope I am wrong here.
-
Right now it would have to be called a hunch but on Stuy's site he was saying something to the effect the Hawks are checking into it.... not sure how it would fit in with the RFA's still needing to be signed. I would be a big fan if they do get Asham.
-
Wow Ek finally got one right?? What miracles never cease.... I am expecting to see the Hawks sign Asham
-
Thrasher fans are saying he is about to bolt to the KHL... but now going to the Hawks may change his mind....
-
We got more for Ladd than we did for Steeger IMO.

Ivan Vishnevskiy Defenseman - ATL HEIGHT: 6' 0" WEIGHT: 193 Shoots: Left BIRTHDATE: Feb 18, 1988 (AGE 22) BIRTHPLACE: Barnaul, Russia DRAFTED: DAL / 2006 NHL Entry Draft ROUND: 1st (27th overall) Talent Analysis A fluid skater, Vishnevskiy has all the offensive tools to become a powerplay quarterback in the NHL. He’s undersized and only average in his own end, two things that will work against him at the professional level. However, he has the vision and skill set that enable him to be a great puck-mover. Reads plays well and has the skating ability to stay in the play defensively, but isn’t consistent enough in that regard. Needs to figure out a way to handle power forwards effectively. Future Potential: Second pairing offensive defenseman and power play quarterback, similar to Lubomir Visnovsky.

2nd-round pick and Vishnevsky Stan just ass raped Atlanta http://www.hockeysfuture.com/prospects/ivan_vishnevski

TSNBobMcKenzie Don't hold breath waiting for Niemi signing in CHI - negotiation process has yet to even really begin. When it does, he won't come cheap.

Thing is.. you hate to see these guys go but every one of the guys they dealt are replacable... I am interested to see what the Hawks do in FA.
