  1. What? If you're referring to the thread topic, I never said best of all time, all I said was historic in the sense of hardest throwing ever. Not best, just hardest throwing. Not best, just hardest throwing. Not best, just hardest throwing. Not best, just hardest throwing. Not best, just hardest throwing. Not Best, Just Hardest Throwing!!!!!
  2. I meant the most historic bullpen by being one of the hardest throwing ever, not talent or production wise.
  3. I was thinking about our bullpen after reading the 5 reasons the sox should contend, and if Aardsma and Sisco both make it out of the bullpen, is it possible that the Sox could have one of the hardest throwing bullpen's of all time? Aardsma- He has a fastball that tops out in the mid 90's, even though for awhile last year he was topping out at 93 mph. MacDougal- Can get his fastball in the mid to upper 90's. Jenks- Consistently gets his fastball in the mid to high 90's. Masset- I don't know much about him, but from what I've heard, he consistently throws in the mid 90's. Thornton- The lefty with the soft delivery is consistently able to get his fastball in the mid to upper 90's. Sisco- From when I remember watching him the last couple of seasons, he pretty much gets it in 92 mph-94 mph range. I know it doesn't mean much, but I think it would be pretty cool to have one of the most powerful bullpen's of all time. At least it should be interesting to watch.
  4. everyone in their bullpen worries me

  9. Actually both the Wells and Ritchie trades were from KW. I believe the Wells trade was his first move of his GM career. Every Trade Ken Williams has ever made
  10. Jenks has looked extremely hittable now, I would give him about 2-3 days off

  13. TB I think would take Vazquez if we payed most (if not all) of his contract, plus they would take sweeney, and possibly someone else. It will never happen though, thank goodness

  19. I completely agree with you, but something is up. You can't just sit there and watch a team play absolutely pathetic for weeks and do absolutely nothing unless there's more to it. I know this team is trying, but it sure as hell doesn't look like it. It doesn't take much to realize you have to have a level swing and go with the pitch. it doesn't take much to realize you have to pitch inside to be effective. So why isn't it being done, it;s been long enough to realize these problems yet everynight we see the same thing from the same people. At the beginning of the season ozzie was managing his ass off, I'm not talking about June, I'm talking about April and early may when our offense didn't seem so one-dimensional and flawed. We were using hit-and runs, we were trying to steal bases, were were taking the extra base, we were going to opposite field, we were a real offensive team, part of the reason why we didn't receive our first shutout until May 31st. Something happen since then to ozzie that has made him stop being a manager and turn into a spectator from the dugout.
  20. there's only so many pop ups I can watch before my eyes bleed, is it that hard to realize you need a level swing.
