The Bears need to call a screen play and get the ball into Forte's hands other ways. Cant be so predictable. -

I cant imagine why anyone wouldnt understand an ISU fan cheering for Texas. AM could have cost ISU a spot in a major conference. And I like Texas more than AM. -
Gosox, There is a lot of strange information about Oswald's shooting ability. http://www.aarclibrary.org/publib/jfk/wc/w...eport_0108a.htm Youll notice that in 1956 Oswald scored "sharpshooter" but 3 years later he scored "marksman". Oswald was not a trained assassin (to the best of our knowledge) so you would have to assume he had some nervousness. I just cant imagine that Oswald came up with this plan, but at the same time was so clueless on escape. It seems the plan of someone else, with Oswald getting screwed at the end. Basically that Oswald was supposed to meet his handlers, who never showed up. Why else is he still in town? Its not like the police were in hot pursuit, he could have easily just driven away. (edit) And I think Oswald was involved, just not entirely convinced he acted alone.

Wisconsin has been on fire shooting this year. All of their opponents have been terrible, but they are looking better than I thought they would. -
I also am enjoying Terra Nova. Not as good as some of the shows that have been canceled, but its not the worst either.
-
Ive seen the footage, I just dont really get that involved because no matter what happens the death of Oswald always leaves a "What if". I guess I would find it more believable if everything didnt happen so conveniently. Kennedy is shot, Oswald is caught less than 2 hours later. I guess I just find it hard to believe that Oswald was smart enough to assassinate Kennedy from distance and in a way where he wasnt readily seen, but at the same time seemingly had no plan to escape.
-
I dont think Oswald was the only shooter. Not really based on any great evidence, but I think that multiple shooters makes more sense to get the job done. From the footage I would guess that there was some sort of "kill zone" where Kennedy was in the sight of multiple shooters. Id also guess that Oswald was more of a patsy, with the actual sharpshooter making the kill blow that takes off Kennedy's head. Also suspicious when someone gets killed before they even get to tell their story.

I like that 56 yards is statistically insignificant even though it results in a difference of .4 ypc (5.0 for Forte compared to 4.6 for Gore). -

The Lions have to play the Packers twice and NO, they need to do everything in their power to get the Bears to more than 6 losses. -

$1mil in cap space is nothing if taking Orton prevents the Bears from making the playoffs. Also if they dont claim Orton, and Orton helps the Bears make the playoffs, how do you explain to your fans you didnt block it? -

Yeah thats the information I read which is why I believed Detroit could claim first. -

Im not sure how the NFL rules work, somewhere I read it depends on SOS and other things, so I wasnt sure if Detroit could claim first. Thats why I said "a team like Detroit) because Im not sure the waiver rules. Just that other NFC teams may want to deny the Bears to try and hurt them. -

Its not Angelo's choice, many other teams have a shot at Orton first. There is even a chance a team like Detroit claims him just to deny the Bears the opportunity. -

Gore is on my fantasy team, I can remember Gore when he played in Miami and was drafted in the 2nd round. Ive seen Gore play numerous times. You wont win, because Im not sure anyone but a 49er fan would take Gore over Forte today. There just is no evidence that Gore is better today. -

Forte's yard per carry is 5.0. Gore is 4.6 Its not about rushing yards, its about who is the most productive every time they touch the ball. There are 3 backs with 150+ touches and 5 yards or better per carry (McCoy, Forte and Fred Jackson). Forte 11 20+ yard runs, Gore 8. Only McCoy, Jackson and Forte have double digit 20 yard runs. Its not a huge difference, but it further shows who the most explosive runners are this year. As for needing Barber, Forte can get in the endzone if you gave him 2-3 tries at point blank range. -

Gore has more TD's? May as well argue that wins are the most important pitching stat. Forte has less TDs because the Bears let Barber vulture them. What Forte can control is yards per carry and yards per catch, which are both better than Gore. Gore is solid, Forte is just better today. -

Yeah I was on the phone, I aws at first going to be sarcastic and say "Gore must be better because he has less" but then i switched and just was going to focus on Forte. I thought I changed ti quick, but I guess that you guys were to quick. -

Wait what, Gore is not better than Forte. Forte has better yards per carry, yards per catch and beats Gore in total yards from scrimmage. -

Injuries happen, no way of predicting them. -
Many victims of abuse cant stop the cycle even after they become adults. It really can mess with a person.

I used to like Cochran but hes played a pretty bad game. My only hope is that Ozzie keeps winning and gets back in the game to win. The next few weeks should be interesting, based on how Coach's tribe splits.
