I thought the exact same thing.

How about that guys hair, and beard? I love it!

I'll take that Astros staff over the Cubs. I like their bullpen, and I like the idea of having two guys that have a handful of WS rings. Not to mention one is a lefty, one is a righty. And let's not forget one of those Cubs starters is bound to get hurt. Prior is already hurt, but I'm talking for 3-4 months. My money is on Wood, but Prior seems like a good bet right now.

I don't care. Trade him and get them a damn pitcher.

Kruk is the only one that knows the players on the White Sox and knows what makes them tick. Harold Reynolds, while I respect him, he just doesn't respect the White Sox and the fact that if all three teams busted out, the Sox would be the most talented team in the Central. And Peter Gammons, well, this guy has never graced the idea of playing a big league game...that guy is an idiot. Plain and simple. I've never respected his opinion.

He should have won. ...Damn you Tony!

He doesn't deny taking them, he denys 'knowingly' taking them. Barry Bonds may no longer be thought of as one of the top 3 players of all time...not that I ever considered his overrated ass one of them.

Most players predicted to have a 'breakout' year end up playing awful. I remember a lot of writers picking Paul Konerko to win the batting title last season...well, he was only about 80 points short.

This might, and probably was already posted... http://www.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?t...87§ion=news Grand Jury Seeks Bonds Urine Samples -Report SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Urine samples taken from baseball star Barry Bonds and other players during the 2003 season still exist and are being sought by a grand jury investigating possible steroid distribution by a northern California laboratory, the San Francisco Chronicle reported on Saturday. It had been believed that only the results of the tests were available but four sources have told the Chronicle that, in fact, the actual urine samples remained and could be used to test for THG, a designer steroid that has been banned by baseball. Attorneys for Bonds, who plays for the San Francisco Giants, and for Major League Baseball were not immediately available to comment on the report. Bonds and several other professional and Olympic athletes have already testified before the grand jury in a months-long probe of Balco, which is being investigated for allegedly providing steroids to top athletes. Bonds has adamantly denied ever knowingly taking steroids. However, if they test this urine and Bonds and players alike test positive, how will this hamper the sport in terms of the fans view, and how close would it put MLB to another work stoppage? And what would another work stoppage do to the game?

Call CF Swingtown in Orland Park. I used to work with guys there. They have guys that know what they are talking about. I used to work with a guy that worked as a pitching coach for ND Baseball. Also got hitting instructions from an old Yankee prospect that hurt his knee. I don't know who they have there now, but they normally have very good instructors there.

I watched The Shining last night. (no, not for the first time) But I loved this sequence: WENDY Don't hurt me! Don't hurt me! JACK I'm not going to hurt you. WENDY swings bat in front of her as she backs up stairs. WENDY Stay away from me, JACK Wendy! WENDY Stay away...! JACK Darling, light of my life, I'm not going to hurt you. You didn't let me finish my sentence. I said 'I'm not going to hurt you... I'm just going to bash your brains in!' I'm going to bash them right the f*** in. WENDY swings the bat. Jack chuckles.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. I look forward to the future.

Wunsch is a valuable part of our bullpen, as he would be to any bullpen. We are blessed with our lefties of Marte and Wunsch. If this is true, KW had better not undervalue him.

Not sure if anyone other than myself is registered here. I don't think so, but I'll check.

I'm glad...setting that newletter thing up was a PAIN.

Hahaha. Yes, he's a Cubs fan. However, I think you'll enjoy (or something close to it) what you see from him.
