  1. My meal doesn't look as good, probably because I made it myself. All it is a baked potato and three chicken breasts with no marinade. Really dry.
  2. Mid-meal post: Of course. Zero, take notes. The conversation ss2k4 and I are having is the way and conversation should be constructed.
  3. You don't have to like the Red Sox. Infact, hate them for all I care. I just think not liking the Red Sox for the reasons that you guys have given me are ridiculous. SS2k4, I will reply to your post after I finish up my potato and chicken.
  4. Don't Ever Compare Cub Fans To Red Sox fans. Ever. Last season when Bartman interfered, everyone wanted to blame him. How about blaming the players? When Pedro got rocked in Game 7 last season I blamed Pedro and Grady Little for our failure, not some damn fan! Also the fact that more fans would be heart broken if Wrigley fell to the ground than if Steve Bartman interfered with a ball... ugh... I can't believe you'd even compare the two teams, ridiculous. :puke
  5. He plays right field therefore if my calculations are correct he does cover 1/3 of the outfield. He's a dirtdog, what can i say.
  6. I think i've made it clear what pushes my buttons and if you don't know its people who jump to conclusions without knowing dick about what there talking about and I didnt call him a piece of s***. To me, every thread being hijacked by punks saying s*** about the Red Sox with no merit or moral behind it is just out to get me going and pissed off.
  7. Like I said. Go to Boston, checkout a game, talk to some fans, drink a couple beers. Best Baseball Town in the country, I guarantee it, period.
  8. Curt Schilling is a regular on SoSH but we've got Baj!
  9. Besides Manny Ramirez, Keith Foulke, and Johnny Damon no one else has been quote on quote bought. Pedro Martinez, Curt Schilling, Orlando Cabrera, Jason Varitek, Derek Lowe, Alan Embree, Doug Mirabelli, Scott Williamson, BK Kim, Mark Bellhorn, Dave Roberts, Doug Mientkiewicz, Mike Myers, and Terry Adams were all acquired via trade something that any team could have, would have, and should have done. Then there is David Ortiz, Pokey Reese, Bill Mueller, Kevin Millar, Mike Timlin, and Pedro Astacio who were all given chances by the Red Sox, something any team could have done. Then theres Kevin Youkilis and Trot Nixon who were drafted by the Red Sox. Then theres Gabe Kapler and Curtis Leskanic who were available to anyone considering they were both acquired off of waivers. and finally there is Bronson Arroyo who was selected in the Rule 5 draft, again any team could have done. So, buddy, get a f***in clue before you get yourself in an argument and make yourself look like an idiot.
  10. Look no further than the Sons of Sam Horn, or the hundreds of other message boards there are across the internet. If that can't open up your eyes, I suggest a roadtrip to Boston and going to a Red Sox game or something of that sort. There is a reason that every baseball player in baseball wants to play in Boston, there is a reason why the place is sold out day in and day out, and there is a reason why Boston is known for having the smartest fans in sports. #1 Sports radio station in the country, Longest current sellout streak in sports, second biggest tv deal, etc. If you would open your eyes, and look at the facts, its all there.
  11. Classy post. So basically your saying, Big Market teams are piles of s*** because you are jealous that they sellout day in and day out and are jealous that the team you root for doesn't have the resources to do that. Again, classy. :rolly
  12. Laugh all you want. FOX will advertise the series as "The Series That America Wanted."
  13. Arguing with you guys about the Red Sox is like arguing with a brick wall. Obviously I am outnumbered with geniuses who know all about the Boston fan base, etc. It's clear that you guys don't like the Red Sox and thats fine but a reason with some merit behind it might help. I would think that since you guys hate peoples thinking when they consider the White Sox the poor, "gangster", hoodlum type team that you wouldn't make stupid and unfare judgements about the Red Sox. I guess I was wrong.
  14. I know alot of classmates of mine who will make next weekends game there priority for the weekend, something they will not do for the World Series. It's a sample size, but it just makes sense. Everyone, anywhere, wanted a Red Sox/Yankee ALCS.
  15. Most Red Sox fans are diehard baseball fans, its fact.
  16. I think its fairly obvious that your average baseball fan will tune into a Red Sox/Yankee game merely on the hype and talk of the rivalry aswell as the fact that the Red Sox and Yankees are the two best teams in baseball.
  17. Insanity at its best. I love how everyone comes to these conclusions and generalizations about fans of other teams such as the Red Sox. It's mind boggling, it truly is.
  18. Exactly, I could watch a baseball game regardless of the teams involved, the score, whatever. I am a diehard Red Sox fan, but above all a baseball fan and Bones, I agree with you, fans like zero and wsf are what is wrong with baseball.
  19. Well thats what will happen with the biggest rivalry in sports, with the two best teams in baseball, with the cursed team, etc. two most lame teams, give me a break, im still laughing.
  20. Troy Glaus would look great on the Southside. *thinks in head*
  21. Death scares the s*** out of me. RIP Ken.
