I hate Tim McCarver more than any other sports broadcaster around, and to be honest when I opened the thread up I thought he was going to have said something along the lines of "and Sosa would love to play for the Yankees," but since that didn't happen, I'll give credit where its due. Beginning of the season, I gave my Dad 50 bucks to put on a Red Sox/Cardinals World Series. So if the Red Sox and Cardinals go to the series, I'll treat you all to a White Sox game next season, maybe i'll be everyones hero and use my millions to buy the White Sox from JR.

They wouldn't trade Mcpherson this year for Johnson, and they won't trade him this offseason for nothing. I'd be fine with just taking Guillen though.

Unbelievable change of events. I love the people who are suggesting Quinn will become the next Jake Delhomme. Personally, I think going out and getting Tim Couch is a must. He has alot to prove, alot of talent, and I don't see why the Bears wouldn't take a chance on him.

There happy with Shields and Mcpherson, if Guillen is a problem, they will trade him and most likely only him.

I think a change is the best thing for this team and letting Valentin go tops the list but if he's willing to take a fair amount of money, who else would you rather see at third base facing righties?

I wouldn't mind a platoon of Crede and Valentin at third base, but if Valentin is relied upon to face lefties, there is not a chance in hell he should be back.

Last week I went to a party and my freind got in a fight, got his ass kicked by three kids and stormed off. I followed him and ran after him because I didn't see the fight happen.. two blocks later, 4 cop cars pull over I drop my beer and stand there. The cop said because I made an attempt to "ditch" the beer, that he was going to ticket me, and because my freind was distraught he wouldn't give him a ticket. It was natural reaction and just complete insanity if I had done what they wanted me to do which was willingly hand them the beer, etc. All and all, we got our words in, the Cops said that they had never been talked to like they had with us. We were going off, "you f***in pigs," "you pieces of s***," "protect and serve my ass," it was awesome. My freind goes "You know if I wasn't hurt I could have ran away, you two fat asses couldn't have caught me, you'd be too busy sucking down donuts." It was quite funny, but will result in a court date on the 26th of October for me. Remember guys, be a selfish asshole always, do not go help your batterered freind regardless of the circumstances surrounding it because the fact is cops will be all over you because they have nothing else to do. Nothing. I am absolutely ashamed that my parents money pays for these assholes salaries. Lesson learned, don't help freinds, and hate Cops at something I call the "Yankee level"

Definitly agree. Like I said last night, 200 bucks for a rountrip ticket tops, 25 bucks for the game and food, and try staying at one of the guys houses or something.

I was beat, I was writing a paper, it's 2:00 in the morning and Minny ims me online and first thing he asks me is if I can drive everybody up to Minnesota for a game. I don't mean to sound like an asshole, but who does that?
