THE Chicago White Sox vs Texas Rangers
good job by Danks to sack up there. although given that Andruw Jones took a shovel and pick ax with him to dig into the batter's box, that would've been a good chance for a heater high and tight then the s***ty beanball warning to both sides.

LOL at Steve Phillips pulling inaccurate stats out of his ass. Compared to these clowns, Hawk is a pro.

2009 MLB Catch-All Thread
Texas 9, Cleveland 1 Lee - 5 IP, 10 H, 7 ER That's more like it. How's Cleveland going to do if Lee's more like 12-11, 4.30 ERA this season?

White Sox vs. Royals, 5/11/07 (W)
I think a sweep, a 5-game winning streak and a lot of momentum heading into the Yankee series would be a great idea. If this offense can tune up vs. KC, it could be bloody vs. the Yankee pitching staff. DO IT!

Masset's Fastball
Masset was the MVP yesterday. He finally ended the Indians' personal tee-ball game and saved our bullpen heading into this series.

Unless I missed something
Someone want to tell Darren that the Sox aren't the World Champions any more? Yesterday during the lineups before the top of the first, "Here's the defense for the White Sox, brought to you by Pepsi, the official soft drink of the World Champion White Sox..." Because it's D.J., at least all you can do is laugh at it. Or maybe it's Pepsi's fault?

In the last couple weeks, he’s had 3 2-for-3 games, a 3-for-4 game and a 2-for-4 game. In a couple of those games, he was literally the only Bristol player to do anything offensively. He’s playing just about every day, usually at catcher and sometimes as the DH. His batting average continues to be a team high. From milb.com, about a week ago - "WHO'S HOT/WHO'S NOT: One of the bright spots this season for Bristol has been catcher Matthew Inouye. He is second in the league with a .354 batting average, and kept that pace this week going 6-for-15 over the last five games."
