  1. Well let's set up a scenario: USC loses to Cal ND loses to USC WVU beats Rutgers FSU beats Florida Florida beats Arkansas in the SEC champ Could a Michigan/OSU rematch be set?
  2. First shutout loss ever in Tallahassee for Bobby! Awesome!
  3. I love UF's kicker! 2 for 9 on the year and he missed another one so far today. Go Spurrier! (God, I never thought I'd be saying that)
  4. QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Nov 9, 2006 -> 09:53 PM) Marvin Austin is close with Locks and knows Benn, so he could be coming as well. If he comes, Wilson might follow. Go get em Zooker. I won't go as far as eating a hat, but I'll definately take a sig bet saying Austin is not going to UofI. All along him and Benn have said they are not a package.
  5. Guys, dont forget that Zook brought in a lot of tallent for UF too, but we all know how that turned out with him being fired. I would hope the brass at UofI has the brains to let Zook go after the tallent is brought in.
  6. Good for Benn. Hopefully he'll be able to get the Illini on some games on ESPN and ABC in the future so I can see him play. It was just a case of him wanting to start, and what's a better place than a 2-7 team that has no WR. He wants to be a go-to WR that turns into a star. Hopefully the hype around Juice becomes reality.
  7. Odds from Warchant.com's main reporter: Il = 60%, FSU 30%, Mary 7.5%, ND 2.5%
  8. QUOTE(Spod=Ratings @ Nov 8, 2006 -> 09:27 PM) Tommorow is the day for me, i have been waiting and waiting for Benn's announcement.....I just hope he makes the right one....Illini baby! I guess I can't blame him for picking UofI. He'll be an instant starter. Congrats.
  9. It's over: Maryland, FSU, and ND got Zooked.
  10. QUOTE(farmteam @ Nov 8, 2006 -> 05:31 PM) Speaking of Benn, any more news on him? Thursday night
  11. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Nov 8, 2006 -> 12:49 PM) Who's rankings? I would imagine DePaul has garnered a ranking with the nice little class they've put together... And we recently got a former northern iowa commit, a PG from indiana named Buzoukas...I'm somewhat skeptical, but I hope he can be a valuable addition... It's from Rivals, and you are correct about DePaul. They have the 10th ranked class. I'll post the whole list if you guys want when I get back from class.
  12. FSU has the 20th ranked early signing period class for basketball.
  13. I can't wait for Sunday. This team is going to be so fun to watch this year. Hopefully we'll be ready for our rough 3 in a row stretch against top 10 teams in a couple of weeks.
  14. That f***s my keeper team. There is no way I am going to keep a player who won't play all year on my team when I have the reigning champions.
  15. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Nov 5, 2006 -> 07:16 PM) Has there been any updates? I haven't seen any yet, and for some reason that worries me more.
  16. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Nov 5, 2006 -> 07:12 PM) I'll debate it with Orton that's for sure. Miami also have a pretty decent defense as well, when they actually feel like playing. Probably a case of the Bears thought they had an easy win today, and it was far from the case. Probably the best thing that could have happened to them at this stage of the season. I will agree with that if Urlacher is not seriously hurt. We might be in trouble without him on D.
  17. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Nov 5, 2006 -> 05:54 PM) The Bears would have the same record with Griese or Orton at QB. Somebody go ahead and try to debate it, but it won't work, because it's fact. 7-1 is a horrible record. Somebody go ahead and try to debate it, but it won't work, because it's a fact! Joey Harrington is the best QB in the league. He won that game! Somebody go ahead and try to debate it, but it won't work, because it's a fact!
  18. QUOTE(MarlinFan84 @ Nov 4, 2006 -> 06:06 AM) IMO the SEC will be the best basketball conference in the nation this year...7 teams IMO will make the tourney from that conference(Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, and LSU) Sure, the BEast might match that, but there are also going to be that large amount of extra mediocre teams. So, IMO, top to bottom, I think the SEC will be the best. The ACC can be right there too. Duke, UNC, BC, GT, FSU, UVA, and one of Maryland, Wake, Clemson, or VT.
  19. How the hell did Hunter win again? The Gold Gloves seem like a joke.
  20. *****Spoilers if u havent seen the new episode***** I didnt like the fact that they killed him off, but it had to happen sometime because he did not want to be invested a long time in this show:
  21. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Nov 1, 2006 -> 12:48 AM) Suns getting TORCHED by the Kobe-less Lakers. One day they'll learn that style can't win in the NBA. It's awful cute and fun in the regular season, but you gotta play some d and half court offense if you plan on doing anything when it counts. Lakers won 114-106.
