I just read that they're gonna DH Ordonez, at least for awhile. I'm fine with Timo in RF and Rowand in CF. I especially like Timo's left handed bat in the line up. Plus he can lead off. There's also a chance Borchard may be call up. That would be cool too. I'd like to see how much, if any, he's improved. Gives us a real good arm in RF until Maggs is ready to get back in the field.

Does anyone know why Jeremy Reed has not been in the Charlotte lineup the past two or three days?

Rauch pitched an inning for Charolette tonight. That seems to be the pattern for a call up.

I too am very pleased with the results so far. Stats are nice, but winning is the bottom line. I'm most happy with the team attitude and the heart they have shown so far. They've had some bad moments but as far as the outcome, they've been pretty steady.

I've been reading the Sun Times on line for about 5 years and they constatly make mistakes. Spring Training of '03 they kept calling Rauch a left hander. I've seen them write that the DH has made plays in the field, etc. I e-mailed them once and asked if they actually attend the games. No response of course. :headshake
