YOU GUYS RUINED THIS HARRY POTTER THREAD NOOOOOOOO luckily i read the book b4 i read this thread.

I didnt see a lot of the game the only time i saw Anderson bat was against Nathan and he looked horrible. But since it was the 16th inning with 2 outs and us down by like 5 and this also being his 1st game I wont judge him on that. He got 2 hits in the game so he was doing something obviously right but from my 1 bat experiance of watching him in the majors he looked terrible lol.

Marriotti deserves all the ripping Hawk gives him. He talked so much trash about this team now that it is almost a lock we make the playoffs he starts praising us like he knew all along we would be this good.... he deserves to be ripped.

You know it would be one thing if it was like his 3rd inning or something and he was tired and than gave up all the runs... I wouldnt mind so much but what he did was just pathetic.

Id say give offer him something inbetween the 3rd pick and 5th pick money and leave it at that. If his agent knows anything he would know that Benson will fall down the draft greatly and not get more money but less money next year.

Ive read all the books and of them all Id have to say the 6 is probably the worse of them all 2. Hell the 1st chapter is a complete waste in that book basicly. Than the ending is complete bulls*** but I still enjoyed it because Harry Potter is the man!

I havent listened to the radio much anymore but when I did it would be Mike North because I think it was just funny how dumb his views are on things and how the one chick always argued with him in everything. Than the guy i really listened to for my sports was Kevin Wheeler becasue I think he knows his stuff despite being a detroit fan.

Well i can agree with you there we dont have much depth on the LB department or Seconday but assuming health id consider us one of the elite defense's in the league.

Im just saying I wouldnt shed any tears if we lost Konerko and I dont think he is worth more than 8 million per year.

Whatevr the case I think the Bears defese is going to surprise you Hammer. While Ian Scott seems average the Bears organzation has had nothing but good things to say about him which leads me to believe he might be better. Also Alex Brown was like a step away from so many sacks last year and he has worked hard this offseason to improve that and get a quicker jump and we havent seen a healthy ogunleye yet. Our defense is extremely balanced and there is no one pacific weak link in it that you can point at. Sure there is Hunter Hillenmeyer and Ian Scott but they arent bad at all just not great. And Hunter showed last year he could be really good while filling in for Urlacher some but im not completely sold on him.

I wouldnt mind giving Akili Smith a shot he cant be worse than what we have.

The Ravens are still the best because they have 3 Pro Bowl calibur players in the secondary, Ray Lewis in the LB corps and than their DT's are a bit weak but with that secondary they can stack the line for the run. Jacksonville is a great defensive team dont get me wrong and I have them in the top 4-5 but not as high as you make them. Carolina like I said earlier isnt as good as you think they are. And the buffalo guys can be underated all they want they arent Pro Bowl players and for you to think so makes me

I dont really care what we do at 1B as long as we dont overpay Konerko to play there for us.

The bears defense has no holes in it really unless you want to say Hunter Hillenmeyer but he didnt look that bad last year. As long as Azumah stays healthy he is a solid CB and has gotten better at the position each year so thats definitely not a hole as of now. Our DT is far from a hole 2. Ian Scott showed last year he could handle it pretty well. He is by far not pro bowl material but he isnt hurting the defense he is a pretty solid player. Ravens are the only team that id say have a better defense than us right now. Jacksonville you overate and the Panthers arent as good either. They have Jenkins, Peppers, Morgan, and Minter the rest arent amazing at all. Ricky Manning had a horrible year last year and Lucas isnt anything special. And their OLB's are not really that much better than Hillenmeyer. Buffalo is a really good defense 2 but I think we might be better. Although i wouldnt call Clements, kelsey, or Schobel all pro calibur.

I think we can still be competetive with Hutchinson as our QB. Yes he isnt that good but unlike Krenzel and Quinn he can move the ball some. The key to the season is keeping the defense healthy... If everyone on defense stays healthy especially azumah once he returns than im not ready to give up on the season. With our defense we can score 14 points a game and still win and with our improved O-Line, running game, and WR's I think our offense can do that. Hopefully with Benson and Jones running it takes a lot of time off the clock and gives our defense a rest which i believe if given a fair rest not on the field 80% they can be the most dominant defense maybe next to baltimore. And its not like baltimore is good offensively either and they have been pretty good.

I hate our gm so much, if for nothing else he just looks like an evil guy... Ill say he has an eye for talent when it comes to defense and the later rounds but as a gm he doesnt know what he is doing.
