like we have any chance at all in getting either one of the players mention. btw, for your info (sp) mean as far as i know misspelled. you have in several times in the past came at me with my spelling. so what gives? do you have a prob with me? no LDF, i dont got a problem with nobody..i was just confused and i dont remeber ever coming at u w/ ur spelling..but i say if we get rogers..we start him in fifth spot..give rauch more time in minors..and bring him up for september call-up or any injury s***..and its all good
-
the only thing i have heard is that theres an offer on the table and a serious one at that......rogers is supposed to make a decision by friday.........at least thats all i have heard........ I love it when Michelle has been talking with her sources....were lucky to have ya here HSC. Now, I can't wait for you to tell us that we've signed him stop flirting Chisoxfn
-
exactly...he owns that rotation
-
we'll do just fine with wut we got
-
Rowands gonna turn INTO giles im high on pepsi
-
o tejada...my bad..but didnt he say sp? anyways..comon now..we got no chance w/ tejada..hes the mvp for gods sake
-
if he is available, how much do you think it would cost to get him.......................... but it might be worth it. ummm but i still would like to get tejas(sp) from oak. tejas? whoz this guy? never heard of him...i tried to look him up but couldnt find him...u got any stats of him?
-
should the sox pursue vlad? hells no..i would absolutely LOVE to get him..speed, power, average, defense, everything you could ask for...but we got maggs in right, though we could move him to left or something...and he would cost a HELL of a ton to keep...but of course no prob for the yankees
-
did i read this too fast? wut does this have to do with guerrerro to the sox?
-
mark johnson? the one we just traded away??
-
they're talking about salary arent they? fantasy baseball salary?
-
All I know is I'm glad we'll have him in our pen this season cause without him, our pen wouldn't be as good as I think it is. I think we have one of the best in the majors, if not the best, but without marte, we'd have more questionmarks and I'd have it as one of the better ones, not one of the best or the best. minn, oak and arz have a better starters imo but overall as a pen i think that maybe nyy is there with us and yes oak. Minnesota, Anaheim, Atlanta, and lots of others. our bullpen is s*** till they prove themselves....which they will
-
if we get rogers, rauch should definitely go down to AAA. our bullpen guys are all set, and i would want glover out of that long reliever spot rather than rauch, comon, the big guy could always use another season down in the minors.
-
wow, thanx, he looked a lot different from wut i imagined
-
does anyone got a pic of cooper? i've never actually seen him
-
PITCHER BEFORE AFTER Mark Buehrle 3.63 3.49 Jon Garland 5.46 3.16 Gary Glover 4.62 5.89 Damaso Marte 3.38 1.74 Jon Rauch-* 9.72 2.25 Dan Wright 5.53 4.62 *- Rauch made just two starts after the Sox hired Cooper. that to me is just WOW WOW WOW
-
Josh Fogg for sure. Kip Wells overthrew way to much and walked too many batters, though a HUGE part of that was due to the pitching coach. But Josh Fogg still has better potential and i believe he will be the better pitcher
-
just give paulie a couple more years and
-
alright delgado will probably have more homers...but his numbers have gone drastically down from 2000..and i believe they will keep going down..while konerkos gonna improve. lets c who does better next year
-
i totally agree we do not need another home run hitter on this team..leave that to big hurt
-
Really? So if Delgado only cost 8 mill as opposed to 18 you wouldn't do the trade? Common, it's not like we are talking about Tony Clark or Fred McGriff here, whitesox247. Paul's potential and leadership are nice to have and all that (although the latter os overrated; whining is NOT equal to chemistry), but Delgado's best year is amazing 300 OPS points higher than Paul's. With shorter fences at the Cell, Delgado is an automatic MVP. are you saying delgados gonna have more homers? well whos the one that got to the home run derby last year
-
maggs is the LAST one im gonna trade away...and i dont want no dung on our team
-
i would not wanna lose konerko's attitude for anyone...i luv that mans attitude and his still-developing leadership..not to even mention his skills
-
finally he gets some credit..he is THE most underrated player of the game..i bet not many people outside of chicago has ever heard of him
-
Spiez was awesome at first. I never knew why he didn't win the gold glove. He was one of the best defensive first baseman I've seen the past 10 years and he was no slouch at the plate either. He was also an unbelieavable leader, but so were many of the Angels. Are you in California or something, I've never heard of many Angel fans from out of the state. yes im from southern cali..u havent seen many angel fans out of state? i've seen tons of them jump on the bandwagon
