Players love to know their roles. They know what to prepare for in games, mentally and physically. Teams with "closer by committees" usually dont do well. As Molto said, in this day and age, closers have become as big a part of the game as anything. As to who should be the closer, I would go with Flash. When he has his stuff, he can really bring it. Marte seems like the perfect setup man and he should keep that job.

Sure, I'd love the Sox to start playing smallball with steals, hit and runs, manufacturing runs etc....but we don't have that kind of team right now. Another one of KW's flaws. OK so we dont have a smallball club, but we have power. We're supposed to be scoring 5 runs per game like the f***ing Rangers. But are we doing that? Most of us are die-hard sox fans who would dance in the street naked everyday for them to win a f***ing world series. And what do they do to deserve all these fans? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I'm so f***ing pissed off at this heartless, dead team. Can we even call this f***ing piece of s*** a team? JM has done nothing to help us get on a hot streak. Sure I'd take a 6-1 loss to the Twins and still be positive about it if the Sox made the slightest effort to battle it out. But they're just f***ing zombies trotting out onto the field and not giving the slightest damn. I don't know how much I can take this. It's getting harder and harder everyday to cheer for these guys.
