  1. QUOTE(Spiff @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 11:58 AM) In other news, who wants to predict whether it will rain on November 17, 2007? Since you clearly do not care for the thread why say anything?
  2. Timo flopping around like some sort of retarded monkey.
  3. QUOTE(sox-r-us @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 02:35 PM) How many quality starts in a row does he have now? Two.
  4. Cotts under handing that from practically the pitchers mound was pretty weird.
  5. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 02:23 PM) Have we even hit any triples this year? I mean, our ballpark isn't exactly conducive to them....no wierd angles or gaps in the corners. Rain's here...at least MB got through his 6+ innings already. Six of them. Three for iguchi. One for rowand. One for dye. One for uribe.
  6. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 02:20 PM) I'm pretty sure Black Jack had the longest streak in the last 15 years or so, and I'm pretty sure it was 48. He keeps this up this streak alone might win him the Cy. The longest for the white sox in that time span... probally not the entire mlb.
  7. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 02:17 PM) Here's my idea...let me see if you guys like it. One big trade rumor thread for all non white sox rumors. Then for every Sox rumor...I'll make a post with that players name and all news related to that deal could go in that thread? This sound like a cool idea?
  8. QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 02:18 PM) Gotta love these 2 out RBI. I am telling you it seems like we should be leading the damn league...but we are not even close.
  9. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 02:12 PM) What is his streak up to now? 47 in a row counting today.
  10. QUOTE(southsidefan @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 02:14 PM) Best thing about these last 3 games is all of our runs have come with everything but Home Runs. We are doing great in small ball I will take some home runs too.
  11. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 02:04 PM) Well that one was just with the full count. Although I'm assuming he stole something today as well (just got the game on around the 5th inning). However, Jermaine has decent speed and when Victor is behind the plate him, Rowand, Guchi, and Pods should all be able to run quite a bit. He has lost a couple steps ever since his injury. He use to be above average speed wise... now he is lucky to be average His lack of speed has been one of his problems in the field but he has shown he is a pretty good base runner overall.
  12. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 02:10 PM) That streak is honestly amazing, very underlooked. Mentioned every start he makes on espn/baseball tonight. Isn't that what this board goes by?
  13. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 02:03 PM) Qwerty, I won't say it, but I know you're thinking the same thing that I'm thinking on that play... He had a great break and gave his all... what more can you ask? :rolly
  14. QUOTE(upnorthsox @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 01:58 PM) Damm, it's the 6th inning and we're into their pen again. Hopefully it won't matter tommorrow but I like see it. Getting into the indians pen is not exactly a good thing.
  15. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 01:53 PM) Please refrain from calling Vida and Eva morons! How about calling vida ugly? I was thinking about getting her face scribbled out too.
  16. These commentators really suck in my opinion. They need to look up s*** more to back up their facts.
  17. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 01:42 PM) That a boy aj, even if belliard fields that cleanly with aj's speed they aren't turning that. ...lol...
  18. Belliard makes an error which scores two runs.
  19. The indians intentionally walking konerko. Bases loaded for pierzynski.
  20. Everett moves both runners over with a ground ball to first.
  21. Rowand singles up the middle. First and second no outs.
  22. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 01:31 PM) There a few guys in our lineup still that can hit much better: Juan, Pauly, and AJ. Juan atleast is starting to make solid contact, Pauly has looked much much better as of late and I still think AJ will get better, he's just to good of a hitter not to. OT: Why the hell does everyone think we were the first team to 10 wins, I've heard that on national broadcasts a million times. Apparently they do not know the difference from a.l. to n.l.
  23. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 01:28 PM) I recall him having a limited no trade clause last year (to like 10 teams,) and them some people were saying there was a clause that invoke a full no trade clause for 2005 if his option was picked up. But like you said, I have never seen it in a story. It is really pissing me off. I remember something with a limited trade clause of like five to ten teams like you said. But a full trade clause i do not remember. Mlb4u has every players no trade clause even if it is limited to 5-15 teams or whatever and they do not have his. I am just gonna go with he doesn't have one until i see it in print some where.
