  1. QUOTE(tony72 @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 07:52 PM) The problem is he pitches fine until he give up a hit... Then he is TERRIFIED to throw the ball over the plate and starts walking people, etc. and creates his own jams..
  2. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 07:50 PM) 101 isn't very much, especially considering that he wasn't going to pitch for a few months. Never said it was. I was just saying he was already over his average of pitches per game last year. That is why we should not bench uribe. Contreras balks. Peralta to third with one two outs.
  3. QUOTE(JohnStamos @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 07:49 PM) If Contreras threw a complete game, the game would last about 5 hours. Seriously, I need two tv's going at the same time to keep from being completely bored. That is what picture in picture is for.
  4. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 07:46 PM) He's not that type of pitcher. He probably could have had one in the last game against KC last year, but Ozzie wanted to bring in Shingo. He was already at 101 pitches... four and a half over his season average. But you are right he really could have if we were desperate. Peralta with a one out double.
  5. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 07:42 PM) Serious question, has Contreras ever thrown a CG in his life? Nope...
  6. Podsednik singles down the left field line with two outs and iguchi up.
  7. QUOTE(SHAFTR @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 07:36 PM) So far he's looking good 4 ip 2 hits 0 runs 4 ks 2 bbs only bad thing is the 66 pitches thrown already. He can probally give us six. A big positive about the all star break is we shouldn't be seeing any meatball or shingo tonight ( more so meatball).
  8. QUOTE(ChiSox_Sonix @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 07:32 PM) Contreras isnt getting those pitches Millwood got in the first... Millwood got screwed through out the entire first inning... i do not follow.
  9. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 07:28 PM) Hey, another walk. This is unexpected. God, I hate Jose Contreras. How good is contreras striking out belliard?
  10. I feel like belliard is gonna rip contreras a new asshole.
  11. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 07:03 PM) Man, what the hell is that in your avatar? Millwood just cruising along now. The offense is looking bad now, but that's what happens when you let a guy off the hook. Kirk hinrich with a cut below his eye...
  12. QUOTE(JimH @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 12:55 PM) Padres have considered moving Nevin or quite a while now, and Wells fit well in San Diego. San diego was one of the few teams on his list of going to i believe. He would put up some pretty damn good numbers there... as should anyone.
  13. QUOTE(keninem @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 06:35 PM) That strike zone is BS. Podsednik should have struck out twice in the first inning. Wciu not showing the outs/count/score is really pissing me off.
  14. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jul 13, 2005 -> 06:10 PM) Off the top of my head: C: Michael Barrett 1B: Brad Fullmer 2B: Jose Vidro SS: Orlando Cabrera 3B: Mark Grudzielanek LF: Cliff Floyd, Rondell White CF: Milton Bradley RF: Vlad Guerrero, Larry Walker SP: Javier Vazquez SP: Miguel Batista CL: Ugueth Urbina Did you seriously forget randy johnson?
  15. Expos have traded away the most talent by far. You can make three teams up with their players alone.
  16. QUOTE(the People's Champ @ Jul 13, 2005 -> 05:28 PM) I haven't bashed anybody..............quit getting your mommy to read the posts to you and read them yourself you illiterate bastard quit trying to start s*** Bye.

  18. QUOTE(Pauly8509CWS @ Jul 13, 2005 -> 04:55 PM) Yep, awesome enough to have spelled Robin incorrectly. As we have already learned he did it purposely... or so he says.
  19. Reason that my posts were deleted...?
  20. Jose 777 if we have all 28 others suddenly quit you would not even crack the top 100 to join.
  21. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jul 12, 2005 -> 04:26 PM) Don't diss me. You should see my pecs and triceps. :finger I AM A SEXY BEAST! :puke
  22. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jul 12, 2005 -> 04:23 PM) But look at the picture Balta posted. I am seriously more muscular than him in that picture. You are?
  23. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jul 12, 2005 -> 12:00 PM) Except for the fact that they have no room for him after this season. Is has been widely known that they are going to have to deal him, and midseason is when you can get alot of value, and ALOT of good prospects. They need some pitching prospects, and they could get some great ones. They can get the same package in the off-season as they will now most likely. I don't think he is moved untilt he off-season.
  24. QUOTE(VAfan @ Jul 12, 2005 -> 10:22 AM) 3. Aubrey Huff from Tampa Bay for 3-4 prospects, but not Sweeney, Young or BMac. I'm not sure what would interest them. Joe Borchard? Ross Gload? Vizcaino? Starting pitchers? If Huff is going to walk, I can't imagine they can get that much for him. Chances of him being dealt this season are probally closer to 0% unless they get a crazy offer they cannot refuse. They honestly have no reason to be moving him now when they can get the same value at the end of the season or early on into next season. No, joe borchard, ross gload, vizcaino, starting pitchers could not even get close to huff. We would be lucky if those guys brought us back jose mesa let alone one of the younger, good hitting lefties ( pretty cheap for the numbers he puts up) in aubrey huff.
