  2. Did anyone sad he was godly like? Nope, but he does have a good backround.
  3. Didn't want to come here at the all-star break why would he want to come now?
  4. If he is willing to take a pay cut in 2006 sure.
  5. Ya it is. I missed out on almost the entire bruce levine reports.... thread. By the time i started reading that the damn podsednik trade started to be announced and i was trying to read both at the same time.
  6. Alright, if you say so. After the type of season podsednik had in 2003 i would never say that he should strickly be a bench player. Same goes with gload, but he is really forced into it now.
  7. I take it you don't think they will pick up franks option at the end of the year?
  8. Yes, he does, but look at what the brewers got for sexson. Three of their starters and two decent starting pitchers.
  9. Unfortunately for gload, everettt will be the dh while thomas is out.
  10. What didn't he do last year that made you believe he is just a bench player?
  11. Trying to trade konerko also? I don't see that happening really. It is a possibility but we need him more than ever.
  12. Since it seems like i dislike this trade so much, i just want to say this, if podsednik does well here i will be the first to eat some crow.
  13. I am saying they could have traded konerko to another team. Didn't have to be the brewers.
  14. If they wanted to do a ''salary dump'' do so with konerko, not lee.
  15. Best site for any minor league stats that you need. I agree that he has improved stealing bases. But it is not like he attempted alot of bases and could not swipe them clean. Is it a possibility that no one really knew how good of a base stealer he was?
  16. Who else do we really have that we can trade for a starter? I think konerko has to stay now unless kw gets blown away by an offer.
  17. He stole a decent amount for the amount of games he played. Here are his minor league numbers. http://www.sports-wired.com/profiles/PO/tbc7586.asp
  18. I know, i still think he falls short of a number one but is a great numbers innings he gives us.
  19. Some people do not seem to like that i keep saying he will not be good here but i have given my reasons which i think support it pretty well so i am happy. What channel did you hear that it will be a major league player again? I believe you, i just forgot.
  20. If he was say a career .280-.300 something hitter in the minors that always had a a good obp i would say his future looked bright. But he was never very good in the minors (.265 hitter, with not a very high obp) is that something to be very excited about just because he stole 70 bases?
  21. Yes, i think it was in the playoffs, but i am not sure, maybe someone else remembers?
