If he was say a career .280-.300 something hitter in the minors that always had a a good obp i would say his future looked bright. But he was never very good in the minors (.265 hitter, with not a very high obp) is that something to be very excited about just because he stole 70 bases?

When did i say i know everything? I don't think i have ever implied that either. Going by podsednik's minor league numbers ( which he was in for nine years) it just does not look very promising.
