  1. I would easily go up to five million, something like three years 15 million. I would maybe even go a little higher than that.
  2. I have asked before but i forgot, will it have the italics that shows who is currently typing. On the bottom where it lists all the users. That is one of the cooler features i have seen on a message board. It is much better than looking at the last click to see who is posting or not.
  3. Pujols best friend, what do you expect.
  4. What exactly is gonna be on the upgrade?
  5. He can be had extremely cheap i feel because of such a s***ty year last year and like you said all his times on the dl. I am think 1.5-2 million per year, which would be a steal if he can pitch how he is capable of.
  6. Well, addison said that, not who i quoted. Punch and judy is who i quoted.
  7. In his career he has maede 8 errors at short in 776 innings. I am afraid is we do not sign a short stop or polanco valdez would be the back-up. :headshake
  8. You are correct but he said he was born there. Also he did not go to college at illinois, he went to southern illinois.
  9. Mutual, if he wanted to prolong his career that is what he had to do and the cardinals felt that is the way he would be most effective. Which it seems they were correct.
  10. He has had over 500 at-bats 3 times in his career and another year with 492. He can very easily start no reason to believe otherwise. Secondly tribune writers don't know what the f*** they are talking about. Also i could care less if he hit 1 homerun as long as he helps us win. More than likely he will hit 15-20 here and may even surprise us with around 25. Seems like with age he is developing more power and our park will help him even more. Nothing about his stats jump out at you but they are solid all across the board.
  11. From what i remember it was nothing with he arm it was mostly with his groin. I think he would a pretty solid pick-up for pretty cheap.
  12. Is it safe to say rowand, lee, and guillen would be a top ten outfield? I think they would be closer to the top five.
  13. He could return next year but i don't see him chancing it by rushing it back and getting injured again. I think it is a safe bet that he will be out all next year and ready for spring training in 2006.
  14. Stacey king was saying today that maybe people should start blaming skiles for not getting curry the ball enough and not soley blame curry. I loved that line. He also said he would go with duhon starting at the point, hinrich shooting guard, deng small foward, tyson, power forward, and curry at center. I would really like that line-up because duhon can pick apart defenses really well. Would not be too comfortable with hinrich at the two guard considering his height and the fact he is not a very good shooter.
  15. 2003: $5.0M 2004: Dual option $6.0M player/$8.0M team 2005: Dual option $8.0M player/$11.0M team 2006: Dual option $10.0M player/$12.0M team or $3.5M buyout -Player receives $1M loan and can void deal after 2003 -Can receive up to $2M in bonuses for top 10 MVP finish
  16. Neither want to come here. That is a good reason for believing that neither will come here. How do we have ten million to play with? Contreras and garcia take up ordonez's salary.
  17. If somehow shields was on the sox i would make him a starter right away. Until he was getting rocked in the starting role.
  18. Really? Whoever thinks that he is gonna be the starting right fielder next year is just plain silly.
  19. Cormier also was thinking about retiring but once bowa got fired he felt he wants to come back to the philles and the phillies want him back.
  20. Rather have a lefty that can get some righties out. He is definitely not that.
  21. It has been more than ten years since our last 10 ten pick only other team that can say that are the braves.
