So, Saban to Bama. Should bring another power back into the mix for the title in a few years. -

Everyone do yourself a favor, don't think of Vitale as an announcer anymore. He's just a glorified cheerleader. He used to provide insight into strategy and recruiting that you couldn't get many other places, but now he's just a cheerleader with worn out sayings and rants that are repeated broadcast after broadcast. He does nice things for cancer research and other things, but his days in basketball announcing need to be over. Duke fans don't even like him, that's really saying something. -

OU hasn't impressed me this year. TTU gave the game away to OU after being up 14 points at OU. OU won the Big 12 in a down year. I really felt this was the year that TTU could grab the Big 12, but they gave away games to OU and Texas almost back to back. I don't feel there was an elite team in the Big 12 this year, or even one that deserved the BCS, but Oklahoma somewhat proved me wrong I guess. -

lol, Boise State vs. Ohio State. Oklahoma is one thing, OSU isn't even in the same ballpark guys, that would be UUUUUGLY... -
Yes they are highlight video's, but there are certain things that you can see from video's and arm strength is one of them. If a guy can make a throw 5-6 times in game video's, then he has the ability to make the throw. I don't doubt that he has problems with some throws, 99% of QB's do, but he is coming to college more equipped than most QB's do. I don't believe that either, and like I said earlier, I don't even think he's the best QB in the class (Mallett). But I do think he's one of the 3 best QB's in the class and a top 50 player in the nation. Forgot to add that Claussen is still the top QB on Scout, ESPN, and Rivals, and is the top overall player on Rivals, 4th on ESPN, and in the top 5 for Scout.

Big 12 was down this year yes, but it was clearly all Iowa State's fault. -
Steelers end the season on a happy note, which really just means a worse draft pick :-). Willie Parker ends the season with 1,494 yards and 16 TD's, and Ben ends the season with "only" 23 INT's.

Watch either of these video's and you won't queston his arm strength or whether he takes enough snaps from behind center. There's a reason he's the top recruit in the nation according to one service. He's got the mechanics down already, has arm strength for all the throws, and is a winner, regardless of talent surrounding him. http://scout.Scout.com/asxplaylist.aspx?s=...mediaids=265950 http://scout.Scout.com/asxplaylist.aspx?s=...mediaids=258783 I'm not a Notre Dame fan and I would have loved nothing more than to watch him play and see an overrated recruit that got the Notre Dame recruiting boost, but I don't see one here.

I like Claussen alot as well, I'm not one of those that doesn't buy into the hype. Maybe it's because his throwing style is a mirror image of what Jeff Tedford teaches, but Claussen reminds me of Aaron Rodgers, except that Claussen has a better arm. But Ryan Mallett really is looking like Roethlisberger did before the motorcycle accident. Both players can make all the throws, but I like Mallett's size and that he likes to get outside the pocket and make plays. Both guys will be AA's and 1st round picks in the draft 3-4 years from now, barring injury of course. You can't go wrong with either. John Brantley is the only other guy in their class as QB's this year, and he's going to be stuck behind Tebow for atleast 2-3 years at Florida. After that, there's a dropoff to the next guys. Not that it matters, but I think Willy Korn is the most overrated QB in the class.

There's not going to be a better QB in the class, he's amazing. Huge and an NFL arm already.

However, Duke takes it to a whole new level. They won't even accept home and home games with other decent programs, they always want to play in Cameron and then on a neutral site, or no deal. -

Pretty neat, one view looks like someone puked on it, then you can turn your head and think somebody pee'd on it. -

Hey, Texas Tech's offense is very dangerous. You watch it for 10 minutes, you fall asleep, and when you wake up 20 minutes later they have scored like 4 straight points on you. This one time I woke up and they had scored 8 straight points on another team, and I was so confused I spent 20 minutes searching through the channels for the right game. -

Yep Isaiah should have had atleast a fine, and I find it kind of weird that the player that apparently carried out Isaiah's orders came from playing under Cheney. -

Kind of funny that the guy that started the whole thing only got a 6 game suspension. -
All of Scoop Jackson's articles are race related. I can't even read them anymore.

Gotta love Butch Davis, Marvin Austin is very interested in UNC now and is close to making UNC his final official visit. Now this... "Iandoli also said North Carolina head coach Butch Davis contacted Noel Devine last week." , I'm not counting on either, but it's fun to atleast be in it now.

http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/16189333.htm Shannon new UM head coach, which would lead me to believe that with the timing that Rodriguez will be named Bama coach tomorrow.
