  1. Kenny is a great story. He battled knee problems for 3 years and is just now trying to get conditioned again. He's 7'9 in sneakers and well over 350 pounds. He can dunk with his feet touching the ground. Here's a shot of Tyler finally scoring on him. http://media.scout.com/media/image/51/511748.jpg Kenny has size 25 feet and had Shaq send him several pairs of his 22 size shoes and he had the toes cut off and extended. The picture above is of Kenny standing on the ground, look at how big his hands are to the ball. He made 6'9 Tyler and 6'7 Deon Thompson look like little kids.
  2. Eventually you gotta wonder why teams trade with us :-P.
  3. He needs to just shut it down for the year. The Heat can get Michael Beasley or Derrick Rose to pair with him next year. Maybe Shaq can get locked in at a Krispy Kreme's in LA while he's rehabbing his shoulder as well.
  4. I give up on the formatting. Here is a word document of the rankings. rankings.doc
  5. Brian Zoubek out with a broken foot for Duke. Unfortunately for him it's the foot that he shoots with :-). I'm sure we will see a miraculous recovery and he will be back in 2-3 weeks, not that it matters.
  6. TTU finished #22, #23, which is decent, but I expected a little higher. Still, not bad being the 2nd youngest team in college behind Temple. Next year should be a lot of fun. I like Stewart Mandel's vote, :-) http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/writ...rankings/1.html
  7. I woke up the neighbors after Ellington made that shot. What an amazing game. 36 points for Wayne and the game winner in OT.
  8. UNC probably going down. Really miss Frasor in this crazy pace, Quentin Thomas as a senior has not improved in 4 years unfortunately. Stepheson's defensive presence in the paint is a big loss tonight as well. 6'5 Mike Copeland and 6'6 Deon Thompson just won't get it done in the paint.
  9. June Jones looks to be leaving Hawaii for SMU. SMU better be paying him at least twice the 800K salary that Hawaii was giving him.
  10. Well, safe to say Bruce is losing his job this week. He is going to need protection getting out of the stadium.
  11. Can't overturn that one if you don't overturn the other. Who am I kidding.
  12. Nice gutless calls there Bruce Arians, probably cost the game.
  13. I wouldn't have called that on either player, both were all over each other. But it can be the makeup call. By the way, that's my least favorite play in all of sports, the fade. It works about 20% of the time, and that's when you have a Randy Moss type on your team.
  14. I'm in disbelief right now. I'm not sure whether to get my hopes up again or not. Haven't seen this Steelers team in about 8 weeks.
  15. Thanks again refs, clearly a holding call there taking away the 2 points.
  16. Please Jacksonville just put me out of my misery. The Ben of last year is back tonight, yay.
  17. Steelers have a miserable OL, and it's showing yet again. You combine a miserable OL, pathetic DB's, and tons of injuries and you get the entire game placed on Ben's shoulders. LOL, just got boned on that call. Thanks refs.
  18. Would be hilarious to see UCLA get sanctions before USC, while the NCAA takes 20 years to investiage the Reggie Bush situation. Reminds me of Duke with Corey Maggette getting paid before entering Duke and nobody from the NCAA wanting to talk about it.
  19. Roy Williams is having himself a hell of a recruiting week. Travis and David Wear just picked UNC over UCLA. Both are top 27 players.
  20. The Big 12 is going to be ridiculous next year. OU returns most and will be a top 6 preseason team. KU and MU both return a lot and should be pre-season top 15 teams. Texas Tech returns 18 starters and adds several 4 star Juco's on the DL and has a very good freshmen RB coming in, should start out pre-season around 14-15th. Texas returns some nice talent, but loses 2 OL, best DT, top rusher(Charles, thank God), best WR(Sweed), 2nd WR Billy Pitman, LB Killebrew, and their safety Griffen. Big 12 South should come down to OU and TTU next year, with Texas in 3rd. Big 12 North should come down to MU and KU again(suprise suprise). All 5 schools should be in the top 25 most of the year with OU, MU, KU, and TTU fighting for top 10. Texas should have a relatively down year, especially with questions about how well Colt McCoy is going to be healed and Charles not on the backfield most likely. Heck, even Colorado is going to be getting the top RB in the nation in Darrell Scott.
  21. John Henson, Top 25 09 SF/PF makes a suprising commitment to UNC today. UNC fans had all but given up on ever getting a Texas kid away from Texas. 6'10 200, had a big growth spurt this year after being a guard early in his high school career. Dexter Strickland should be close to joining him in the next week or two.
  22. Aww, poor guy :-P. I wonder if this one will cost Groh his job. I would be fine with Tech not getting down 13+ points in a bowl game next year late in the 4th and just blowing the team out, that would work for me. 19 starters returning next year with several 4 star Juco DL ready to step in at our weakest position. Should be a lot of fun.
  23. In a few years Kentucky could be sitting 3rd all-time in wins. Kentucky - 1,948 + 5 = 1,953 UNC - 1,914 + 12 = 1,926 Kansas - 1,906 + 11 = 1,917
  24. Ouch, Willie Parker out for season with broken Fibula. Hopefully he can make a nice recovery for next year. At least his buddy Fred Taylor will finally get into the Pro-Bowl.
