or if he had a stat book with him that had every stat known to man in it so he knew exactly what AJ's numbers were against lefties and what Walkers numbers are.
Please be joking.
Yes, in fact, he should.

He's just always negative about everything to do with the Sox when they lose, and when they win, he's always positive.
Wow, just wow.
What if, in a highly unlikely event, all three losers wound up with the same record? What if, in a highly unlikely event, all three losers wound up with the same record?
That would set up the dreaded two-tier Wild Card playoff. The loser with the total of the best head-to-head records against the other two would have the choice of sitting out the first game or having home-field advantage in both games. The winner of the first game would then play the team with the bye to determine the AL Wild Card winner.
WOAH!

Ownership isn't going to pay for the money to move the fences back. They already had payed money for them to be pulled in a couple of years ago. Just because we have an anemic offense doesn't mean the fences is the problem. It's our offense that is.
We do get something like 2.5 million to revovate the field every year. Although I believe for next year they are changing all of the seats green with the money.

Which is why I said the ACC is going to have a down year. I don't see anymore than 5 at most getting in.
But you said they were the best conference this upcoming season. You retract that statment than?

I see Duke, WF, Miami, and either FSU, BC or UNC making the tourney this year.
So, that's 4 whole teams. The Big East and Big Ten will be expecting as many as 7.
