  1. Capping referrals is fine but I love when the Dodgers do this and makes me want a cap less to shove it to Jerry.
  2. The 78 itself is going to get like a billion in public funds but since it isn't paying for a brick in the stadium, it doesnt count.
  3. Yeah that stuff just doesnt happen in MLB. That is a NBA and NFL move due to cap manipulation.
  4. 37 mil owed still by the Cardinals. Interesting to see return and what money they send.
  5. If they can get Shaw for ten cents on the dollar, should absolutely do that. Would think he could profile as a good LFer too.
  6. I think Bielema and co were at Rice the other day.
  7. 2 hour rain delay at the United Center. Jerry really needs his concessions.
  8. Benetti is a much better national announcer than he is a local one. Glad he moved on, which happened because he wanted more money to do less games. Hard to blame the Sox for that.
  9. My favorite movie of the year. Also the most unhinged casting in movie history.
  10. And now NBB said the Sox are out again lol
  11. Feels like he should take his own media literacy advice.
  12. I guess it should be pointed out the tweet is a joke.
  13. Which is to say hes better than Bartolo's colonoscopy, but yeah. He is good though.
  14. Be nice if Murakami, Robert, Sosa and Montgomery can combine for 110+ hrs. Might have something cooking then.
  15. https://news.yahoo.co.jp/articles/705d0a9ea1b1270c84c4dfe069dbc9510b184ebf The White Sox, seeking to rebuild their team, have suddenly emerged as the frontrunners. Following the acquisition of infielder Munetaka Murakami (25), a major comeback from a longshot becomes a reality....The White Sox are strengthening their starting lineup, and they view Imai as an "ace pitcher." There are also reports that they are approaching him with a contract of around three years, rather than a long-term one of seven years. Credit ChiSoxFanMike but yeah thats what the article says.
  16. They were interested in Okamoto though. I believe he was #1 priority until Murakami's price somehow got down to what they thought Okamoto's price would be.
  17. I'm not really sure then other than I'd guess it's some circular reporting/bad translations. Either way, cant imagine Sox do anything here despite me believing he was #1 priority coming into the offseason.
  18. The article just mentions Padres, Pirates and Angels and its taking it from this tweet. He has no meetings set-up per that link yet. The other teams are mentioned seemingly as speculation from an old MLB Trade Rumors article on if they miss out on Bregman (?). https://x.com/i/status/2005298697425633589
