  1. QUOTE(MinnesotaSoxFan @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 02:02 PM) so....how is it gonna feel being 3 games back? Not sure. How's it feel to be like 11 back?
  2. Let's say it this way: our starting pitching and offense have swapped roles from last season. Fortunately, the bullpen has been fairly similar.
  3. Maybe it's time to accept that this team has a totally different identity/make-up from last season?
  4. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 01:06 PM) As I recall Garcia did just fine last season in the playoffs. :rolly he also did just fine in the last regular season. I'm not seeing a magical switch being flicked for him
  5. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 12:57 PM) f***ING OWNED!!!!!! I'm here all week
  6. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 12:55 PM) All you people fantasizing about Verlander or Bonderman please tell me what they have won besides a few regular season games? When they beat someone in the playoffs and win a game that truly means something then you can come to me and talk about how great they are. Man, I sure wish we had had Randy Johnson in our rotation last season instead of Buehrle or Garland
  7. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 12:46 PM) NO! We're more than halfway through the f***ing season. Two guys with ERA's in the 4's, two guys with ERA's in the 5's (maybe 3 after today). They're not getting better. At what point can we f***ing worry?! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ total aggreance. Our starters have got to get it together.
  8. QUOTE(Melissa1334 @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 12:45 PM) yes, lets just out slugg everyone into the playoffs... it's working, so go with it, I guess.
  9. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 12:43 PM) Thank God for our offense. And whoever called it, kudos.
  10. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 12:21 PM) That's really low. Might end up hurting us. maybe, but our guys are putting some good swings on him. I think we're going to have a big inning on him.
  11. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 12:19 PM) Would it really hurt to let him have a shot leading off? Beckett's pitch count must be relatively low. Anyone? beats me on pitch count, but I never thought I'd see a slower pitcher than Garcia
  12. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 12:06 PM) That's exactly why I asked how many times Pods led off a game, got on base, and then stole. That's about the only thing that would be different than someone else leading off. I really doubt he's done that many times. Is Frank Thomas and Bill Melton the answer to the trivia question? for some reason, I don't think it's Frank.
  13. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 12:04 PM) ¿Double play, por favor? so close.
  14. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 11:58 AM) He's over. Get him in. Like I said earlier in the thread....I wouldn't mind seeing Mack more in LF. who bats lead off then?
  15. is it a curse that when you play SS for us you get a Taz swing?
  16. QUOTE(shawnhillegas @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 11:55 AM) ok, its not just the signing of Dye that was important, THANK GOD FOR THAT THIRD YEAR OPTION!!!!!!! seriously. that's the no brainer of the off season, right?
