Of course he had the MRI this morning. With Eloy I believe it started to leak around 1pm the day of his MRI it was bad news and Hahn met with the media around 3.

To me, he probably heard from someone with sources it’s a season-ending injury, just like Bernstein heard about Eloy. These types of things leak quicker than trade stuff

Yeah I’m with you and think if we see him back early July healthy and effective I would be happy.

Sox need Abreu and Grandal to show up this year. If they continue to underperform so badly, it’s going to be nearly impossible to make the postseason. Personally, I think the Royals are a lot better than people give them credit for. Hard to imagine the Sox running away with this.

If you really want to go for it, trade some of your better prospects for Kris Bryant. He looks incredible this year and would instantly be their best slugger.

DH is likely next year in NL.

And who knows what Mercedes actually is come the end of the season. No reason to accommodate him long term right now after one good month.
