Followed by another amazing at bat by Yoan as a righty, and now we have Goodwin facing a LHP.

That’s a really bad at bat for Eloy

So Tony fears Nelson Cruz more than Matt Olson and Vlad Jr

Of course it has. Pitching to Vlad there is ridiculous

Heads up play

This won’t be a fun inning

Doesn’t look like he has MLB caliber bat speed

No chance...both should be in Charlotte

That was a pathetic at bat. Up 2-0 and had no chance of squaring up the fastball

Mendick struggling to get the bat head through the zone

Some batted ball luck! Nice job Vaughn

Just pathetic. This team is hard to watch since the ASB.

Just in time for Leury’s voodoo to get him playing time

What’s the point of these posts? Nothing personal to you, but he was out for season so that was never an option.

They put way too much faith in Engel staying healthy despite him never looking 100 pct all year

5 for the game now. He is getting very lucky

This offense is just bad now. They haven’t been hitting mediocre pitching, so it’s hard to be confident they will hit around quality starting pitching. But hey, Hahn thought Garcia and Engel and Goodwin were the answer

So many fastballs taken for strikes. With a slider as good as his, it’s such a bad approach.

Stop hitting high sinkers on the ground. Abreu has done that a ridiculous amount

Sox are taking a lot of fastballs so far. Similar strategy they tried yesterday that didn’t work.

It’s going to get swept if this bullshit keeps up. Toronto has enough power to get a few out each game.

Goodwin as well.

If he pulls the ball on the ground it’s an automatic out

That was just an embarrassing at bat

He probably actually hit very little with RISP and two outs at Cal. Other team be idiots to pitch to him with an open base.
