  1. I’m good...not ideal offseason but a far better team than the 2020 squad
  2. I’m confident it’s nothing major. It’s a pitching prospect for sure
  3. I don’t disagree, but it’s the way they do business so you have to hope the core guys are too good for them to mess this up.
  4. Sure, I don’t know why anyone expected different. As Tony said, the Bauer dream was never ever going to happen.
  5. I’m happy they traded Dunning instead of Cease. I’d rather keep the higher ceiling guy. Like you mentioned, Dunning is not someone who was going to be a reason they succeed or fail.
  6. So for the record, this is a Tony deal and not a KW deal or a Hahn deal?
  7. Why do people act like Sox just can’t to find a pitcher next offseason to replace Lynn? They will know more about virus/attendance issues and should have virtually no offensive holes to fill.
  8. They viewed 3 guys as untouchable, which makes blockbuster deals impossible.
  9. They got him for the postseason and to save the bullpen during the season.
  10. Tony loves Lynn, just blame him. Sox are clearly going for it, so it will be interesting to see what’s next. I get it stings to lose Dunning, but he’s probably not one of the top 15-18 guys that would dictate the success of this era.
  11. He could easily be worse than a #4 starter. He faced garbage lineups last year. I’m sure he will get stronger after TJS but he’s nothing special IMO
  12. It fills “postseason starter you don’t need to warm up someone once game starts”’ role
  13. I’m fine with it. Dunning is a 4/5 starter with TJ on his record. If you’re relying on him down the road for an important game, you’re probably in trouble.
