  1. Doesn’t hurt, but still seems like an uphill battle.
  2. I believe it was data from the Schaumburg site
  3. Make it happen Hahn
  4. Don’t forget they also didn’t share their data with other teams, which is such a strange decision
  5. Hector back at it again
  6. Wonder if our old friend Colome ends up with the Twins
  7. Well the Sox apparently agree with myself and others a little bit as they were trying to trade him last deadline. As for LaStella, he wasn’t even good on the Cubs. He was basically an all star with the Angels though.
  8. Hopefully the reason the budget for a pitcher went down a few million is because they’re allocating the rest for Cruz
  9. Yet you think Giolito will be basically the best pitcher in baseball and stay healthy for the next 5 years?
  10. One could argue Tony helped the Sox get Lynn and Hendriks.
  11. This is just a ridiculous post
  12. For 5 million he’s a better value than some of these guys. If they cost the same, I would have rather had other guys but for half of Richards, that’s not bad.
  13. Gray added before season starts in this scenario?
  14. I’m confident they will get someone
  15. Keuchel barely made it through last year with his back issue
  16. Some teams absolutely might value a plus plus hit tool more than others. Personally, I’d rather the Sox just try to hit 300 homers a year like the Twins in 2019.
  17. No freaking way can they give Lopez a starting spot
  18. First, I thought the research you did on his last 30 starts was sensational. I would argue the Sox were in a huge slump when they faced Wainwright and we know Indians offense was bad. With all that said, I won’t mind him in the 5th spot if it happens. Sox are currently one injury to the big 3 away from a huge mess.
  19. He was 43/62 stealing bases in the minors. That’s way too many caught stealings for someone that’s supposed to be an amazing base runner. There were also numerous other outs on the bases he made, and many of us in the minor league threads referenced this.
  20. Yep, it’s because I think we all view him as most replaceable of the young guys
  21. You complain about everyone using small sample size for his bad base running and defense, but you conveniently don’t use it for his hitting.
  22. And this is the type of thinking that concerns me, as I know this twitter handler is well-versed in Sox thinking: https://mobile.twitter.com/rbh700/status/1352714219725217794
  23. Not Harold, but I think they see his shortcomings are greater than expected. Basically he’s a one tool player in their eyes.
  24. Hell no, you can’t go into the season relying on Lopez. That’s how you get into a situation where Drew Anderson is starting a game for you a month into the season. Sox currently are nowhere close to having the depth they’re going to need for a 162 game season.
