Did Darwin Barney make the HOF?

Tony La Russa named Manager
At least hold a zoom call with the players. I think you nailed it perfectly before, Tony doesn’t feel it’s his responsibility to reach out to the players. You would think Tony would start to develop a rapport with his key players and not have them have to rely on reading about all the horrible things about their new manager on Twitter.

He’s horrible, no thanks. I’d rather have Mazara.

What about Stroman instead of Bauer? I would be happy with it. Obviously Bauer would be great but seems unlikely.

Stoney for months has been saying the Sox need a lefty run producer in RF

I tried very hard to convince myself it wouldn’t be as bad as 95 pct of the people on here thought it would be. I’ve said this before, but thank god this isn’t college sports as the transfer portal would be blowing up.

Yep Calhoun, Joc or Bradley Jr vs the field. Santander is a trade candidate not discussed enough.

Stoney saying he doesn’t see Springer to the Sox. https://mobile.twitter.com/stevestone/status/1324496703047692288

When are people going to learn that Stoney is basically the narrator for the organization? When he said the other day Tony should be communicating with the players, it was obvious there was a lack of dialogue. I still can’t get over how potentially damaging this ridiculous hire was.

Kudos to Timmy. He could have been much more aggravated in his responses.

Sure, if there’s any truth to the pitchers not feeling comfortable with him. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see there’s some issues going on.

What a joke

Offseason Targets
I have no knowledge of this, but what if it’s a situation where the organization just doesn’t like how he calls a game and wants a mulligan on the signing?
-
Offseason Targets
Sure, if they feel he doesn’t work with pitchers well and they’d rather invest their money in McCann than him. I don’t think it happens, but crazier things have happened.

Offseason Targets
Would love it, but has that guy ever been correct?
-
Offseason Targets
I know I’ve said this before, but if they dislike his catching so much, they really should try to trade him and bring back McCann. They would have to throw in some money, but it would still end up being cheaper.

2020 Election Thoughts
Sounds like we have our next manager lined up after Tony.

And what happens when Tony decides Molina is better defensively and gives him too many starts while he puts Grandal at DH and Vaughn ends up losing at bats?
-
Offseason Targets
Yeah it’s just not a fit.

Bob N: Cleveland intends to trade Lindor
Mets or Yankees is my guess

Woof, that’s a lot to give up for one year of Lynn and Gallo a FA in a few years.

Heyman predicted the following: - Springer to Boston for 4/80 - Bauer to Giants for 5/150 (he said he’s heard the Giants could be in on him) - Realmuto 6/132 to Mets - Lemahieu back to Yanks 3/60 https://mobile.twitter.com/JonHeyman/status/1324082678610698244
