    Lol you’re a clown.

  • Zevala is not a major league catcher. There is no shortage of better defensive catchers that can’t hit.

Nothing you can do but laugh at this point :)

At least this is the "best" time for something like this to happen to, if it it's going to happen. Two series against weak teams until we can limp into the ASB and rest up more.

Gives them time to assess how bad the injury is and how to prioritize needs for our trade deadline moves.

For what it's worth, I had Yoan going down in July not Grandal. Glad I didn't place any bets!

Grandahl was starting to look healthy and ready to produce in the middle of the lineup. Bad break for him and the team

That a character from Lord of the Rings?

I wasn’t watching when it happened, but from reading the comments here, it’s anything from a cramp to being done for the year.

I missed the injury, can someone give me the details?

His reaction and the resulting visual effects were odd over a short period of time.

Check swing. Front foot down. Front foot up immediately while hobbling out of the box pogo stick style.

Down to the ground rolling in pain.

Up on one foot. Two trainers help him off.

Sits in the dugout for a minute and then walks to the clubhouse delicately while supporting himself with his hands.

the circus continues

It looked like a calf cramp from his reaction but then the trainer didn’t start stretching him, so who knows.

wow they hit a sub 95mph fastball, amazing!

THE COMEBACK

Was it the left calf that he just missed games for?

He did at least sit in the dugout and walk off without human help from the dugout. Zach Collins may need to play like a first round pick for a few weeks.

I think so.
