Why pitch to him with the open base?

Yeah this team is choking hard. Getz really fucked them.

No, Mune’s wasn’t hit well

Just like that one Cubs game, the bottom of the order is so bad, you know they’re not going to contribute. I don’t blame Venable at all.

How about someone that isn’t one of the worst hitters while playing in Colorado

5-37, no extra base hits

He choked

Peters OPS around .380 against LHP. Absolutely insane he’s playing

For a team struggling against LHP, sucks that Quero got sent down

Bullpen is shockingly rested. 6 would be great

Time for Rogers to hit a bomb

Not enough slugging. Too many slappy guys on a daily basis in this lineup now.

Yeah he could DH

And just take something off of it and they will roll over

Acuna has no place on this roster. Yet, he’s batting 7th

If they’re going to play Grichuk in LF, then call up Bonemer

This is where it sure would have been nice to get an offensive spark at the deadline. Doyle is the last thing they needed in this lineup.

Everything up in the zone

BMont for sure in Tigers series

Had choice between him and Fletcher and took Fletcher

He definitely needs a breather

Wouldn’t say they had a particularly energetic game

Yep, we all would have taken 3.5 up this time last week

Just make postseason and the year is a raging success. Would hate for them not to make it after being in such good position and lose fan momentum heading into possible lockout.

I do find flaws in how they determine xBA sometimes. You’re telling me that is more likely to be a hit than Riley’s liner down the left field line?
