My god this ump is a joke.

Painful broadcasting this inning

This is really an amazing point

ugh

That was a rocket by Jay

No interest in him as a utility, as he can't hit or run. Rather have Leury as the utility player but I don't think that's going to happen.

Can we just get him out of the organization please, as I have absolutely no faith they'll have the guts to keep him off the roster?

Yolmer with 216 at bats as a lefty and an OPS around .575. Can't wait until he's acting as a mascot for another team.

They really need to start developing some of these mid-level prospects, as that will help with the depth. Sadly, most of the mid-level guys have imploded in the minors this year (I believe fangraphs illustrated that today).

Helen Keller

Madrigal made good contact but it ended up being a pretty routine fly out to center. That's still my biggest worry with him, as you hate to see his best bullets to that part of the field being routine outs.

such brutal at bats. Gallen has bad command, but I'm sure he'll walk only a few at the most today.

Looking at his career stats, I’m worried about how his lack of walks will translate to the majors

This isn't anything fancy, but having the black towel from the Blackout game is something I'll keep forever

You have so many teams that need late inning help, it really feels like the Sox should be able to get great value for Colome or Bummer: Phillies, Nationals, Braves, Cubs, Brewers, Cardinals, Dodgers, Red Sox, Rays, Twins

Well that was a pointless, boring, unproductive game. Oh well, 1 game closer to never having to see half this roster play again.

Another invaluable performance by Castillo tonight. How has he not been DFA yet.

If you're talking about starting pitching....no. It's a complete mess in terms of pitching in the upper minors for the Sox.

wow, swing the bat

These guys know you only get 3 strikes, right? As a whole, the quality of the at bats since the ASB has been awful. Give me Mercedes of Reed.

I would prefer they actually see if Covey can be an opener for next year and use him in that role now instead of wasting innings seeing him get his brains smashed in as a true starter.

Well our AAA starter gave up 7 homers today

Would be quite comical if Sox got a perfect game against them today

yeah, he's definitely DFA worthy

my god Covey is freaking awful. Stop trying to make him a starter (also, who was the idiot that said he should throw more 4 seamers)
