Most overlooked story of the year has been Heyman saying he had "informed speculation" that Girardi would be their next manager.
-
Don't get your hopes up. If they fire him and hire someone legit, they will actually get criticism if they don't play well.
-
Just like he had Anderson and Moncada come into his office yesterday and tell them they need to focus more, maybe Hahn should do that with him.
-
Nice 2 game losing streak for RR....thank god he's a good cook
-
Give him rest of this year and then see who's available.
-
Gross, does this mean he's not making All Star Game?
-
When a manager blames his long man in the bullpen for not getting out the second best hitter in baseball with an open base in the 7th inning, you have to wonder about the leadership.
-
Hard contact, yet another 0-4 game for him. I would move him out of leadoff spot, as maybe he will be more aggressive
-
Yoan has looked bad in two at bats vs Greene this year. Abreu has two double plays off of him also I believe. How about a homer, single and then double?
-
Gotta wonder if Frye is healthy.
-
Yesterday was horrible too, but he threw Volstad under the bus instead of taking blame.
-
Yep, Cubs just wanted a babysitter for Castro and Rizzo
-
He didn't, they were content with losing.
-
Not Ricky's best inning...by that, I mean he is god awful. Go coach softball
-
Haha, so crappy. I've seen this story of Gardenhire outmanaging the Sox before.
-
Can Tilson hit it far enough for sac fly?
-
Timmy another walk
-
Need a good AB by Timmy here
-
Yeah just seemed really odd to care so much about the 7th but then trust him so much for the 8th. Oh well, if it means more reasons for Ricky to be gone by 2020, then good.
-
Frye and Soria didn't pitch yesterday. You also don't use 3 better relievers in one inning if you know you have to use your worst guy in the 8th.
-
Not sure why he's in the majors
-
Ugh bad defense strikes again. Two straight games where Ricky is lucky wins don't matter, as his decision making sucks.
-
Omar got away with a very stupid play
-
Or let Jace start the inning, regardless of who was up
-
Retired 13 guys this year, walked 11. No idea why in the world they called him back up.
