No Rutherford and Sheets...you guessed it, LHP on the mound

He was the one free agent this past offseason I really wanted the Sox to go after and break the bank. Nice job by Lopez!

Not even close this inning. Cooper probably should have gone out there.

Real strong play by Yolmer

Great eye

Especially when you have as much power as Omar

Nice job limiting the damage. Swihart is horrible, good thing WSox never got him.

Crap throw by crap catcher

Nice play!

Ridiculous pieces of hitting by Boston this inning

Pilkington just had an awesome inning

But that at bat was a perfect example of the concern I had about him prior to draft. He was ahead in the count and got a fastball down the plate and he hit a weak chopper on the infield. Did the same yesterday. You would like to see more line drives in those situations. I'm a huge fan of leg kicks, but I wonder if they try to fix his form a bit. I will say I love how he takes offspeed pitches and barely flinches at them.

Good point

Really good offspeed pitches. Velocity leaves a lot to be desired. Throwing 86-88 from stretch.

Great piece of hitting by Madrigal exploiting the hole between 1st and 2nd

Cause he was batting righty and didn't get out of the box quickly

Could it be worse? He's striking out a ton without any power.

I see I missed Jose struggling on defense and Yoan having a great game for Boston

Awesome!

His mechanics, command and velocity is awesome to see. He's doing this with a below average slider for him.

Don't think it's Cooper's decision

92 down is not working for Rodon

4 good pitches to hit

Wow Yoan not exactly getting down line fast
