  1. All the more reason they might be trying to find a CF and move Eaton to LF.
  2. Bad news for Carlos Sanchez. Here's your back-up infielder.
  3. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 22, 2016 -> 04:30 AM) It's just you. What do people like about him then? Seems he would have been much better when Hardcore Championship was around
  4. Maybe it's me but I despise Ambrose. Seems there is nothing special to him besides awful facial mannerisms.
  5. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Feb 22, 2016 -> 04:07 AM) Edge and Christian segment way too long for a PPV. This has been a regular Raw episode so far
  6. The lack of selling the submission move by Charlotte was insulting
  7. Well this game quickly changed. Groce really should be gone, but it sounds like he's safe
  8. Wisconsin is having some of the worst bricks I have seen all year. Nigel Hayes hasn't made a shot in over 50 minutes of game time. Illinois in good shape for the win.
  9. A potential fit is Coghlan if the Cubs end up bringing back Fowler.
  10. Jon Heyman ‏@JonHeyman 1m1 minute ago Chisox seem to be considering adding OF. May prefer one than can play some CF. A-jax perhaps, and if they'll spend, fowler
  11. Jon HeymanVerified account ‏@JonHeyman 3m3 minutes ago Indians seem to be considering Austin Jackson. Other possibilities include chisox, angels, milw, maybe Texas (low on $ tho)
  12. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Feb 19, 2016 -> 09:26 PM) I think LaRoche will bounce back a bit. Avi is a problem, but if he plays every day, at some point, his numbers will look great, like they did in May last year. Still want to know who plays DH vs LHP. Absolutely cannot put LaRoche into that spot.
  13. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Feb 19, 2016 -> 09:23 PM) If Saladino fields his position well, he sure can be a starting SS on a contending team. He is also a great baserunner. Steamer projects an 80 wRC+, when the Sox won the WS, Uribe put up an 84. Back in the Sox heyday in the early 90s Ozzie was averaging about a 75. If he is anywhere near as good of defensive SS as he showed at 3B, he isn't going to have to hit much to be valuable. Saladino should be fine as a starter, but on a contending team he should probably be your worst starting player. The path to him being better than Avi and LaRoche seems much clearer right now.
  14. QUOTE (The Gooch @ Feb 19, 2016 -> 08:42 PM) I wouldn't mind seeing more JB Ugh, why...he was below average in all 3 categories last year. He provides you absolutely no offense from the RF spot. MASSIVE fail by Hahn if Shuck gets more at bats this season.
  15. QUOTE (The Gooch @ Feb 19, 2016 -> 08:34 PM) I don't remember flashes from LaRoche.... I don't know about you, but JB Shuck and Jerry Sands are sure to push Avi and LaRoche for playing time
  16. QUOTE (WhiteSoxLifer @ Feb 19, 2016 -> 09:25 PM) Rick Hahn: "As I sit here right now I think anyone in this division has a chance to win it. We certainly expect to contend for it." https://twitter.com/CST_soxvan/status/700776775509356544 Hahn: 'We expect guys like LaRoche and Avi [Garcia] over the course of the season to be the player they show flashes of being.' https://twitter.com/CST_soxvan/status/700777069853052928 Reinsdorf must be proud of his awful GMs. Nothing like lack of urgency due to the loyalty of the boss.
  17. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Feb 19, 2016 -> 06:41 PM) Micah Johnson hurt his hand taking out an avocado pit. Is out for a week. Trayce better be careful. So the scouting report was wrong...he doesn't have hands made of stone!
  18. QUOTE (WhiteSoxLifer @ Feb 19, 2016 -> 07:59 PM) Here comes De Aza lol Only way I'd be content with ADA is if they brought in Raburn also. Would give them more options depending on LHP/RHP
  19. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Feb 19, 2016 -> 07:42 PM) As long as something is done before Opening Day, that's fine. Fowler supposedly wants 4 years or at least $45 million. Who knows with Jackson. I don't think Hahn has proven himself, but he knows as well as anyone, he needs another OF. Levine was on the radio this morning strongly emphasizing that they need to get a lefty bat and would trade lower-level prospects to get one.
  20. Scot Gregor ‏@scotgregor 9m9 minutes ago From GM Rick Hahn, sounds like only adds #WhiteSox might make would come through trades. Chicago White Sox ‏@whitesox 14m14 minutes ago "As we sit here today, we feel well positioned to contend." - Rick Hahn
  21. Ken Rosenthal ‏@Ken_Rosenthal 12m12 minutes ago Sources: Uribe in agreement with #Indians, pending physical. Indians have added some guys this offseason that hit LHP very well
  22. QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Feb 19, 2016 -> 06:42 PM) How does it feel to be the University of Illinois ozzfest? This had no bearing on Groce's fate. He's not a baby sitter. It sure as hell doesn't help him
  23. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 19, 2016 -> 06:40 PM) when college athletes do this stuff, I just shake my head. What did Black think the end game was going to be here? They were gonna be like "alright, he has a knife, lets just let him walk out"? He made a lot of poor decisions on the court...scary to see it happen off the court as well. I wonder if he has some anger management issues.
  24. Dan Hayes ‏@CSNHayes 14m14 minutes ago Dioner Navarro was asked about catching Chris Sale after Mark Buehrle: "He’s got way better stuff than Mark -- yeah, I said it." #WhiteSox
  25. Avi needs to just take the Toronto approach and swing out of his ass on every pitch
