QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Nov 21, 2015 -> 11:37 PM) These refs in NU/Wisconsin are beyond inept. Just called an incomplete pass on a clear sack after a questionable overturned Wisconsin touchdown. Edit- Nevermind, I guess there was a spike on a player where they weren't really set. Sure looks like Wisconsin got screwed on a game tying TD at the end

QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 22, 2015 -> 12:06 AM) Urban not using timeouts was a head scratcher. Just let them get last play. 12 carries for EE. WTF 8 of those on one drive. Their OC must have been drinking with Barrett.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 22, 2015 -> 12:55 AM) Understatement. Play calling was horrible. That may have cost Tim Beck his job. Listened to some of the game on the radio and they were going bonkers about how awful play calling was

QUOTE (zenryan @ Nov 21, 2015 -> 06:54 PM) I dont know how legit Utah will be when its all said and done but that was a thrashing Miami put on them last night. Great coach and senior-dominated team = top 15 team, IMO

Neil Walker on the Block
QUOTE (BlackSox13 @ Nov 21, 2015 -> 12:14 AM) You're probably right about Freese and I agree about not wanting to see all three of Sanchez, Saladino and Micah on the field at the same time. I'm not counting on it but I'd really like to see the Sox move Melky, Micah and Avi in trades to open up roster spots for Thompson and possibly sign Freese. I really am curious about See Gordon though, he'd be a great fit with the Sox and is in his prime. I wonder if the Cubs would consider a Melky for Castro swap of some sort. The Sox would save money annually whereas the cubs save just over 11M in total for future payroll obligations. Supposedly the cubs are thinking about moving Schwarber back to catcher which would open up LF. I'm really not a fan of Castro, just trying to think outside the box is all. No chance in hell the Cubs would take Melky. They don't need to cut payroll.

Kershaw wants Puig off the Dodgers?
QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Nov 19, 2015 -> 11:50 PM) FWIW Puig's first two years are better (by fWAR) then anything Swisher has ever done. 2015 Puig is troubling but I'm willing to take him on in the right move. Team needs to inject position player talent and high risk high reward moves are the type that need to be made. This isn't a team that will get anywhere playing it safe and making small upgrades that are likely to work but also likely to only add half a win here or there.. You need to make big moves that might pan out in order to go from 75ish wins to 85ish. Was referring to Swisher not fitting into the clubhouse after the Sox paid a huge price for him, only to have to dump him a year later for a terrible package

Kershaw wants Puig off the Dodgers?
Hell no to Puig. Last thing Sox can afford is giving up someone like Quintana for Swisher 2.0 Wouldn't be surprised to see Puig to the Indians for Salazar.

White Sox still deciding on what to do
QUOTE (iamshack @ Nov 18, 2015 -> 04:52 PM) Or it means they are flexible, which is usually a good thing. There is nothing wrong with making decisions based upon what is available on the marketplace. In fact, that DOES make me excited. Yep, can't say you are adding on if you intend to trade Quintana. My guess is we see some rebuilding while adding MLB ready contract controlled players

I stopped listening to what KW said a long time ago, as it's usually never honest. I'm sure people on here will still blame him for any bad move Hahn makes.

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Nov 15, 2015 -> 05:28 PM) Yes, though I'm less confident in that than I was before Stanford choked last night. I still think ND's defense has no chance at stopping Stanford's offense, but ND might be able to outscore them. Kizer is a much better QB now than he was earlier in the season and Stanford's defense isn't as good as I thought. If ND and Oklahoma do both win out and none of the top three lose, that will set up the epic argument over which team gets that fourth spot. Oddly enough, it might hinge on whether or not Navy can win the AAC. Will also be interesting if UNC beats Clemson. As of now, ND should make it over Oklahoma.

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Nov 15, 2015 -> 05:12 PM) No, no chance of getting into the playoff, but how do you justify putting a one loss Big Twelve team in the playoff over ND if the AAC has better OOC wins than the Big Twelve and ND has wins over potentially both teams playing in the AAC championship game? The AAC helps ND's case against the Big Twelve if that's what it comes down to, though Temple losing yesterday hurts a bit. Don't the AAC teams have a horrific SOS?
