  1. Seems like based off of years of watching Rios bat, he's a good bet to pull the ball down the line against a soft tosser. Melky was way off the line there.
  2. Awful relay throw home by Sanchez. His defense has gotten worse as his offense has improved.
  3. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Aug 8, 2015 -> 02:29 AM) I liked Hawk /Rowand . Rowand maybe needed reminding he was broadcasting with children listening and wasn't in a bar. Never too early to teach your kids about syphilis.
  4. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Aug 8, 2015 -> 01:26 AM) I didn't think it could get worse than Hawk-Rowand...enter Scotty Pods. By the end of that road trip, I thought Rowand was good. He brought some comedy at least to the broadcast.
  5. Mets at Tampa tonight sounds like it's 90% Mets fans. Pretty interesting spectacle.
  6. Jammed left shoulder, day-to-day for Eaton. Of course, that's what they said about Avi and the MRI revealed the tear.
  7. What the hell, Hawk just blew off Pods' question to him. This is a shameful production.
  8. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Aug 8, 2015 -> 02:17 AM) Looking at the replay, it looks like his shoulder was hurt before he landed. Hawk said he was having shoulder issues. Hopefully, he didn't tear something. Looks more to me like he hurt it on the fall. Either way, he's very likely done for the year. He had been way more durable this year than he was last year too.
  9. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Aug 8, 2015 -> 02:14 AM) Where did LaRoche's pop go? Who knows, but his approach is sickening. He really does very little to adjust to how the opposition is pitching him.
  10. I assume Saladino will become the leadoff hitter? Sucks to lose Adam, as he's been pretty damn good the last few months.
  11. Hawk campaigning for Hunter to be a HOFer? This broadcast is ridiculous.
  12. QUOTE (greg775 @ Aug 8, 2015 -> 01:37 AM) LaRoche is so selfish. Just f***ing get the run in instead of having this fricking wide open stance that accomplishes nothing. Lexi just was overmatched in his at bat and not talented enough. But LaRoche pisses me off. Get the run home. Considering how much you hate LaRoche and how much you hate KC, post #40 in this thread should make you sick.
  13. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 8, 2015 -> 01:47 AM) Someone take pods out now. Please. For the love of God Bring back Rowand, they're undefeated with him in the booth
  14. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Aug 8, 2015 -> 12:34 AM) LaDunn has been one of the biggest bust in 2015. Just praying that he retires after this season. He's had such little impact on this team winning.
  15. Wow, on the season, LaRoche is 6-42, no homers, no walks and 15 strikeouts vs KC. Way to make a difference Adam!
  16. Pods is like the anti-Chuck Swirsky. Instead of asking Hawk 100 questions every game, Pods acts like he's in the booth by himself. This is fun bad
  17. Just started watching. Holy cow is Pods bad.
  18. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 8, 2015 -> 01:09 AM) Scotty Pods choking right off the bat What happened
  19. Danish walking the world tonight. I wonder if he's injured, as he has taken a gigantic step back this year. Not a top ten prospect in this organization given his struggles and limited velocity in my opinion.
  20. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Aug 7, 2015 -> 09:40 PM) Doesn't make a difference. It's still ridiculous. Sale's FIP is 2.50. Yep, and Buehrle has no business being on that list. Liriano and Lester should be on that list.
  21. Panik's replacement has been a disaster defensively for the Giants today. With that said, Schwarber continues to be amazing. Vogelsong, Cain and Peavy would have been a dangerous rotation 5 years ago. Now, they're going to be responsible for the Giants not making the postseason this year. Hard to see this team outlasting the Cubs and Nationals.
  22. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 7, 2015 -> 08:54 PM) sell out = sox lose #gregcorrelations which means Sox should be incredible at the Cell
  23. And nothing ever goes wrong when Laz Diaz does a Sox/KC game
  24. QUOTE (flavum @ Aug 7, 2015 -> 08:22 PM) On Draft Day 2014, I never heard of Kyle Schwarber, so I'm not pointing fingers... That said, if they did a re-draft now and the Astros and Marlins still took Aiken and Kolek, would the Sox be dumb not to take Schwarber, or are we still happy with Rodon? I've been thinking the same thing, and I would still go with Rodon. He has the chance to be an ace. However, Schwarber has a much higher floor than Rodon does. You put Schwarber in our lineup right now, and he's either our best/2nd best hitter with Abreu.
  25. QUOTE (SCCWS @ Aug 7, 2015 -> 09:13 PM) Does Thompson have a minor injury??? He'll probably play Sunday vs Duffy
