  1. Another crazy NL central injury situation is what's happened to Cincinnati. Last night, they only started 3 (Votto, Frazier and Bruce) of their main 8 offensive players coming into the season. 2 are out of the year, 1 is out for a few months and 2 have nagging injuries. They're going to unload Cueto after the ASB.
  2. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 12, 2015 -> 09:13 PM) Jesus, that's unreal. Can they afford to trade anyone? Piscotty's lost a lot of value as a prospect. Reyes, a pitcher in their system, has really blossomed this year. He's easily their best trade chip with Marco Gonzales hurt.
  3. Lance Lynn to the DL for the Cardinals. They've now lost Wainwright and Adams for the season, and they have Holliday, Lynn and Walden out for an extended period of time. Hamels and Howard continues to make a lot of sense for them.
  4. Some great highlights in this video. One thing I noticed about him vs Illinois, and you can see it in the highlights, is he has an incredibly move to first for a RHP
  5. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Jun 11, 2015 -> 03:22 AM) Was just reading an Astros board and they were complaining about once again being shut down by a "horrible pitcher". Quintana really gets no respect. And they want to fire their hitting coach and send down everyone.
  6. Twice now this year Soto had game winning hit against Tony Sipp. Just face it Astros, the White Sox own you
  7. QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Jun 11, 2015 -> 03:19 AM) Laroche was out. Really off-putting how both Hawk and Stone insisted it was safe and then stayed silent when the replay showed he was out. I like my homerism but admit you're wrong when you were wrong. Yep, they had a perfect angle of it frozen at the moment of the tag. It was clear he was out.
  8. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jun 11, 2015 -> 03:19 AM) Agreed, but I still think Garcia was safe. Agreed
  9. Not sure if the foot popped over the plate and he was tagged before he touched home.
  10. Not to jinx the 9th, but the Sox have done a great job of limiting home runs by the Astros in the 6 game series. Jennings was only person to give one up, I believe.
  11. You never give a hit and run sign on a 3-2 pitch. You might give the runner the green light, but the hitter is up there trying to get on via hit or walk.
  12. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jun 11, 2015 -> 03:11 AM) Bonifacio is absolutely terrible. I really loved his signing at the time, but he's shown nothing this year and Robin isn't even using him appropriately (not that it would likely matter). A complete waste of money. Not sure what happened, but he didn't look ready to play when ST started
  13. Hahn has got to find a few upgrades for this offense. A few guys have failed far too much to stay on the roster.
  14. Boni crushed that. He's going to be out of baseball in a year or two
  15. Goodness, his days have to be numbered. That's one of the worst throws you will see.
  16. No problem with sending Avi there on 3-2 pitch. Just wish these guys could get better jumps, as most of their successful attempts have been due to bad throws and not their jump.
  17. Avi needs to learn how to slide. He's going to break his ankle if he keeps sliding as hard as he does.
  18. More awful offense/base running. Soto keeps taking strike 3
