Gameday has Q's velocity at 90 today...less than last year, correct?

Q can't get the 3rd out today, but Sox can't get a 2 out hit. Bad combination.

Shocking that Iassogna made a ball call. How did the Sox get stuck with him and CB in back-to-back series?

Tough match-up for Beckham in his first game back. With that said, he better be on a short leash this year.

With how awful the Tigers bullpen is, gotta keep working Scherzer's pitch count. Getting him out after 6 would be huge.

If the Hoffman injury is serious, it could actually hurt the Cubs more than anyone. There seems to be a consensus top 4 right now, and then a big drop to the next tier of players. I still worry the Sox won't want to take a high school pitcher that high.

Bad news indeed on Hoffman, as I can't see the Sox drafting him now. Hopefully this puts Aiken/Kolek more in play, and not Beede.

Semien doesn't hit Abreu-like blasts, but he has real good power to straight away LF.

Pretty happy my heart didn't have to deal with me watching the 9th. Great win though!
