Semien's looked pretty damn good at 3rd

This is about as bad as Danks has looked in a long time. The pitches that he gets over the plate have nothing on them.

QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Apr 27, 2014 -> 12:09 AM) Eaton... you're killing me That average is dropping fast.

BTW, De Aza is now 1-22 for LHP this year.

Whatever Cooper and company did with these guys in ST should never be done again. Simply put, they don't seem ready to compete on the mound.

Yep, if ADA says the ball was stuck, they only get 1 there

Danks and that 88-89 mph fastball is awful with his mediocre command

Did ADA cost to Sox a run by trying to field that ball?

Looking at the replay, I don't think Eaton knew it was a homer. Looks like he started running after Abreu once he (Eaton) crossed home.

ESPN stating first Sox walk off slam when trailing since Ventura in 1991

If you're going to throw him a low 90s fastball...you might want to throw it inside

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 26, 2014 -> 05:20 AM) NY media will root for Tanaka as ROY but Abreu is going to make it a race all year long. Abreu will win the ROY over Tanaka...he has the backing of deadspin already

STUD!

Oh boy...big time drama. Gillaspie for Abreu?

Semien's going to get those sliders...need a flipper to RF

Nice hustle...make contact Semien!

Wow, sounds like a wrestling crowd

Wow, go PK!

I doubt he gets a lot of fastballs

Garcia to run for Flowers? Nice moves by Ventura here.

QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Apr 26, 2014 -> 04:56 AM) I can't blame Hahn for this historically BB staff. Just unreal what is going on. f*** it we aren't going anywhere anyways. Not coming into the season with a long reliever was a mistake. Besides that, I really think they got burned by Jones being useless so far this year.

PK to bat for Beckham?

Probably shouldn't be swinging at 1-0 pitch when down 2 leading off. Oh well, it's worked for him so far this year.

QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 26, 2014 -> 04:49 AM) Surprised that there's no mention of Rick Hahn when it comes to criticism of this pitching staff. He should thank his lucky stars that Abreu has been as good as he's been (and that Eaton's been solid), or else people would be saying how horrible his offseason moves were. Paulino, Downs, and Davidson for Reed might be 3 of the worst moves made by anyone during this past offseason up to this point.

QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Apr 26, 2014 -> 04:49 AM) A f***ing monkey throwing darts is more entertaining than this pitching staff Outside of Sale, Quintana and Webb, it's hard to project any pitchers on this roster being a contributor in 3 years. Maybe Petricka or E. Johnson, but they have a lot to prove.
