  1. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 8, 2011 -> 02:09 AM) It's gonna be nice if and when management finally gives up and we get some new faces in here. Dayan/DeAza, hopefully some trades as well. Be very, very afraid of trades, especially with the rumor last night that the Sox have looked into trading Viciedo. Hell, KW might know he has no future with this organization after the season and just go for broke.
  2. Twins scouting report on how to pitch to our hitters is just phenomenal.
  3. Juan continues to hit the ball right on the nose. Now we have our powerful corner infielder up.
  4. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 8, 2011 -> 01:48 AM) I'm not even gonna get mad this series. I expect to lose all four. They have a better team. Period. So surprise me, White Sox. Quitter
  5. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 8, 2011 -> 01:48 AM) lol. Why am I not mad? A sweep by the Twins could benefit this organization in the long haul. The product we see performing on the field right now is mediocre.
  6. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 8, 2011 -> 01:45 AM) Dunn 4th, Rios 5th. If the Sox score 3 runs or less, is it really Greg Walker's fault? To me, I don't believe Walker comes up with a good strategy for his hitters on a game in, game out basis. But yeah, even with a different hitting coach, it's not going to make Dunn and Rios significantly better. I think Beckham's the only person who needs a different mentor.
  7. QUOTE (OilCan @ Jul 8, 2011 -> 01:44 AM) Alex Rios....grinder. Everything he hits is off the end of the bat now.
  8. My son just changed the channel on the TV for the first time in his life. 11 months old, and he already knows the history of the Sox/Twins I guess. However, he changed it to the Home Shopping Network...oh boy
  9. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Jul 8, 2011 -> 01:35 AM) another night spent rooting for losses by the tribe and tigers. this season sucks. It's been incredibly boring, but hopefully they give us some excitement the second half of the season. I really believe that if we're going to still be mediocre during the 2nd half of the year, falling out of the race the next few weeks wouldn't be the worst thing.
  10. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Jul 8, 2011 -> 01:34 AM) nope It's amazing to see how flat we are in a big game.
  11. Nice 0-2 pitch Humber...not. Someone needs to tell AJ that his curve is what's made him great this year, not his fastball.
  12. Humber has no command out there. Some people on here called it after his long outing on Saturday. I don't think this team followed Peavy's advice and came out with passion tonight.
  13. QUOTE (OilCan @ Jul 8, 2011 -> 12:26 AM) @CSNChi_Beatnik Brett Ballantini #WhiteSox need less guys getting doubled off of first patting the opposing pitcher on the ass on the way back to the dugout. yeah, great teamwork Pierre. Who cares, they were teammates on the 2nd best team in Chicago sports history....the 2003 Marlins
  14. It's early, but Pavano doesn't look right. His fastball seems way down.
  15. Anyone else concerned that Beachy is a huge flyball pitcher?
  16. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 7, 2011 -> 11:46 PM) I can't wait to see greg's posts tonight. I've got cheese popcorn and two forties. I'm ready to go. I'm right there with you. I'm actually excited for this series, as I think the Sox will win 3 of 4.
  17. Don't forget that Harrison and Salty were also in the trade.
  18. So what type of stuff does Axelrod have?
  19. Viciedo has been doing great the last few games against some pretty big name pitchers in Teheran and Minor.
