  1. Should be Crain in here, but looks like Danks is staying in.
  2. Really nice job by Danks of getting us back in the dugout.
  3. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 18, 2011 -> 01:37 AM) Pathetic Gordon At what point would you qualify him as a bust? I know you're much more lenient than a lot of us.
  4. Holy cow, he is so bad. He has the bat speed of a 45 year old.
  5. So yeah, what happened to Danks' stuff? How's his velocity this year statistically comapred to last year? And this 6 man rotation is sure paying off, as almost everyone's looked less sharp.
  6. Dunn chases ball 4, that's after Alexei swung at a face high pitch. I hope we get shut out if it means Walker's one step closer to being canned.
  7. QUOTE (JoshPR @ May 18, 2011 -> 01:09 AM) He needs to go to Charlotte, before they screw him up even worse, walker needs to go, have you seen a bunch of lost hitters? Greg "Prospect Killer" Walker
  8. Beckham has struck out in 12 of his last 25 at bats. Greg Walker is just killing these guys right now.
  9. Rios is now 9-58 with runners on this year. Might as well have him bat behind Pierre.
  10. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 18, 2011 -> 01:57 AM) Summer. 2009. Good times. That was after the awful offseason after 2008. What a terrible one year span for Kenny Williams. That 12 month span was the beginning of the end of the KW/Ozzie era.
  11. Well, that was about as sad of an effort by Rios as you could imagine. What a terrible player he is this year.
  12. BTW, Dunn is now 0-23 vs lefties this year. Come on Yanks, blow us away with an offer for Dunn and Danks!
  13. What did Ramirez do? No surprise that Danks has bad stuff again....the 0 wins has definitely gotten to him mentally.
  14. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 17, 2011 -> 02:58 AM) Rios is perplexing. Juan Pierre is just a bad baseball player *cue Shack getting upset because I called Pierre bad and I'm not in the major leagues*. But Rios is as gifted as just about any player in baseball outside of the Uptons. Teams are just pounding Rios on the outside corner, and his awful swing/standing off the plate is making it so difficult for him to consistently square up the pitch.
  15. It's just crazy how little Rios and Pierre have done to help us win games this season. At least with Morel and Beckham, they played a huge part in a few of our wins.
  16. Greg Walker continues to thrive. Just a heartless, awful effort by everyone on the Sox. At least we should get to see Lillibridge in the lineup tomorrow.
  17. Worst thing about that inning is Juan having a bunt hit. Ozzieball!! It would be nice for Dunn to carry this team on this homestand, especially with the Sox facing a lot of sinker ballers.
  18. How many strikes can we take tonight? Never has a hanging breaking pitch dominated an offense so much.
  19. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ May 17, 2011 -> 01:54 AM) Are we going to get two pitching prospects for him. It would be nice if one of them was near major league ready. It will probably be someone we put in the pen right away. The more I think about things, the more I'm stunned at how much this year could hurt Sale's development. He's basically a mop-up man now.
  20. QUOTE (Capn12 @ May 17, 2011 -> 01:51 AM) So bad... 4+ innings, 11 hits, 4 runs, 3 walks, 2 wild pitches. Definitely the stuff of a solid starter. We won't have to deal with his erratic ass much longer. He'll likely be traded in a few months.
  21. Brilliant managing by Ozzie. He should have never, ever started this inning.
  22. Jeez Ozzie...leaving Jackson in a long time when he has less than his best.
  23. QUOTE (Real @ May 17, 2011 -> 01:44 AM) Is Beckham the biggest bust of all the top 10 picks in the 2008 draft? Horrible baseball player. Someone forgot to tell the Sox front office that you have to be able to swing a bat in order to stay in the big leagues. Gordon forgot how the baseball bat works Tim Beckham and Kyle Skipworth say hi
