AJP seems to be mentally checked out of this game as well. Swinging at numerous pitches in the dirt. Beckett's making it look easy now as we keep chasing TERRIBLE pitches.

Taking strikes, swinging at balls. Haven't seen a game all season where we've chased more pitches out of the zone.

Ah yes, the beautiful Kotsay grind out to 2nd base. Happy we went out of our way to get him into the lineup today, and not only that, made it difficult to PH for him by playing him at 1B.

You could see this coming after the debacle the last two innings. Buehrle has nothing on his pitches, and that pitch selection to Ortiz on 3-2 was HORRIBLE!

I know it didn't matter in the scheme of things that inning, but Omar running home on that grounder was terrible baseball.

That was a pathetic excuse for an AB by AJP. He lost his focus after the first strike call. Also, Konerko was too busy trying to hit the ball to the right side, and then he pulled that crap of pulling the ball to 3rd. We should be up 4 or 5 to nothing right now, but our hitting with RISP has been awful today.

That Kotsay AB could end up being the turning point. Also, be nice for Juan to start getting hits again.

What in the heck was Rios swinging at? You never see someone chase a fastball in the dirt as badly as that.

Those last two pitches by Sale have been strikes all game for Lackey.

This Twins lineup is brutal (compared to what they normally have). However, they just find ways to keep winning.
