  1. QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 4, 2010 -> 07:53 PM) Way too many DPs. Rios has killed so many rallies the last two months. If anything, let him bat 2nd and put Pierre in motion if he gets on.
  2. Gonna need a few more runs...nice job of chasing Bucholz!
  3. Seems like we've been walking way too many #8/9 hitters as of late.
  4. Q gets to be in the lineup against Lackey, a pitcher that I know he hit two bombs in one game against.
  5. What I want to know about Borbon's single to right that Repko threw out the runner on was why wasn't Repko playing deep in "no doubles position"? Every other team in baseball would have their outfielders playing no doubles there.
  6. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Sep 4, 2010 -> 03:44 AM) Is there any doubt anymore than the Twins are going to win the Central? They just find ways to win. Where we do the exact opposite (unless we knock the ball outta the park). Gardenhire has done a brilliant job with that team considering the injuries.
  7. I've never seen a team win more games that they were outplayed in than the Twins since the ASB. That's at least 5 games they've won that they had no business winning. I hate that team and that boring ass ballpark.
  8. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Sep 4, 2010 -> 03:41 AM) Unf***ingbelievable. Alex Cora vs Mark Kotsay would be a good running contest
  9. Twins win...absolutely crushing win for them considering how much they were outplayed. Hey Rangers, that's why you don't play everyone on the warning track.
  10. You have to be kidding me...Jason Repko's defense continues to help the Twins win games. Also, Rangers have got to have someone faster than Cora on their bench.
  11. Bears waive Iglesias....someone remind me how Angelo still has a job?
  12. QUOTE (Friend of Nordhagen @ Sep 4, 2010 -> 03:32 AM) MLB Gameday says Josh Hamilton left the game with a back problem. So, maybe he could be out the rest of the series? Awesome. Lower back spasms, considering he was going to sit on Sunday, it seems likely he's out the rest of the series.
  13. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Sep 4, 2010 -> 03:28 AM) sometimes i just wanna puke at how they win these games Twins have hit one ball hard this entire game. Rangers could have scored 4-5 runs in the first few innings if not for the Twins defense.
  14. Capps continues to be a godsend for the Twins. Twins still lead 4-3 afer top of 8th is over
  15. Nelson Cruz with a horrible AB with runners on 1st and 3rd, 1 out. Up to Kinsler.
  16. Pretty cool that KW's son, Kyle, made the 49ers
  17. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Sep 4, 2010 -> 04:03 AM) Hey Fathom, how's fatherhood treating you? fantastic, couldn't ask for a better kid so far. Thanks for asking
  18. Twins in great position to win, as they have the lead and looking to score more. Seriously, why the hell are the Rangers playing these guys so deep?
  19. QUOTE (CWSOX45 @ Sep 4, 2010 -> 03:57 AM) Why would you throw a slider in that situation when the guy has no shot at catching up to your fastball? If you're going to throw it you better miss down. I don't get it. Stupid. I'm just amazed they were playing Hardy as if he was Albert Pujols.
  20. QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Sep 4, 2010 -> 02:42 AM) Part of it is because how Beckham and Sale flew through the minors though. Sale will count for next year's ranking class.
  21. QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 4, 2010 -> 02:49 AM) Valenica taken out of the game, might be a bit hurt. He'll be back getting 2 hits tomorrow, I'm sure. Valencia is in the middle of every Twins rally it seems.
  22. Rangers keep scoring, and then the Twins answer. Someone please tell me why the Rangers LF was playing Hardy on the warning track?
  23. Fox had NOTHING on the mound. 88 mph fastballs, no offspeed pitches. I have no idea how the Rangers didn't pound him all over the place.
