  1. QUOTE (hitlesswonder @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 04:54 AM) The hour-long televised "decision" was ridiculous. How could anyone have thought that was a good idea. It's funny, I get the impression that Lebron is actually a better dude off the court than Jordan ever was and yet you never saw Jordan's PR team make a mis-step like that. Lebron should hire whomever ran interference for Jordan. fantastic post
  2. I guess Josh Cribbs is going to put up a huge banner in downtown Cleveland saying that he's staying there, and that he's true to his word.
  3. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 04:49 AM) I like what one fan said "he basically said Dwayne Wade is better than him, so he is going to play with him." And Wade chose playing with Bosh over time with his two kids. There has to be some messed up transitive property there.
  4. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 04:48 AM) Yep, and you knew it was coming if he went down there. I wonder if he knew how bad this would make him look? Most telling was the editor of draftexpress, who is at the Summer League games. The NBA people there were disgusted with LeBron.
  5. I've forgotten how much I hate watching the National League. The Dodgers offense outside of their top 4 is absolutely awful. Russell Martin looks like he ate someone. Hopefully Dodgers can split this 4 game series, as it would suck for Cubs to go into the break winning 7 in a row and then opening up after the ASB against a Phillies team that is missing a ton of players also.
  6. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 04:44 AM) You know what's really exciting about this Gibert thing? Things are going to start leaking like a motherf***er from over there. I expect confirmation of the West-Gloria James thing in a week. About 90 minutes ago, I said I'd love to see a tell-all from a pissed off Cleveland org member
  7. All things said, I love how this is blowing up in LeBron's face. Tons of articles in the media bashing him already.
  8. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 04:41 AM) Gilbert letter has been verified. wow, not only did he lose his franchise tonight, but he lost his dignity
  9. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 04:40 AM) Sounds like Michael Beasley a bit. Totally different players. A lot more like Sean May
  10. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 04:39 AM) is one of those guys the Baylor guy? Perry Jones
  11. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 03:37 AM) who are the top freshmen coming in to even keep an eye on? Harrison Barnes and J. Sullinger
  12. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 04:35 AM) If i'm the Cavs i try to cash in on picks for Williams and Jamison. Next years draft is deep enough that you can buld a decent mid-2000 Bulls-esque core and let that team grow together. Next year's draft is going to be terrible
  13. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 03:31 AM) That is incredibly pathetic and unprofessional in my opinion. So much, in fact, that I have a hard time believing it is authentic. me too
  14. The Reds are supposedly interested in Cliff Lee, but they really need to focus on cleaning up their bullpen. Outside of Cordero and Rhodes, they have no one!
  15. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 03:07 AM) Anyone listening to the Score? Goff is pissed. I've never heard him more angry. what's he saying
  16. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 03:07 AM) Bulls should trade for Antawn Jameson, Rashard Lewis, or Jason Richardson. Richardson would be the best fit of those 3
  17. QUOTE (RME JICO @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 03:56 AM) The league has been going down the drain for awhile now. The entire culture has changed. It is not even entertaining anymore. It is dunks and 3 pointers, just like ghetto ball. I couldn't disagree more. You see guys like Rondo and Rose who are perfecting the tear-drop in the lane. You have someone like Durant who has amazing offensive ability. I swear I've heard that "the entire culture has changed" for the last 2 decades.
  18. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 03:57 AM) Bah, all they need him to do is block shots and rebound. he can't do any of that without getting into foul trouble within 2 minutes. Might as well just play Dexter Pittman.
  19. This is from the guy at draftexpress.com LeBron wouldn't be very happy to hear the things that NBA and media people are saying about him right now. This is just ridiculous.
  20. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 03:55 AM) Am I a Bulls fan? Yes I am, but I am also a person who can be objective and look at things through my unclouded eyes and also hear and read what others are saying I'm just saying that people are so quick to say Jordan is Greatest of All Time, but if LeBron goes out and wins 10 rings, then maybe he would deserve it.
  21. good, Shaq is terrible now and just clogs up the middle. A big man with range, like what you saw with R. Wallace last year, would have been a better fit.
  22. QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 03:44 AM) You do realize that Magic played with 2 other HOF players pretty much his entire career don't you? Didn't hurt Magic or Larry Bird playing with a ton of other HOF players. They were clearly the best players on the floor. Some nights Kareem would take over, or McHale, or Parrish or Worthy etc etc. These arguments are absurd. Michael wouldn't have won s*** without Scottie. There's no reason LeBron won't be the best player on the floor most nights. I agree, but you have to remember you're talking with a lot of Bulls fans right now.
  23. QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 02:43 AM) when was the last time a team features a SG and a SF who can average 5 assists per game? I dont think the heats would need a starting point guard next season, they would need a three point shooter. Probably like Kyle Korver or JJ Reddick. They will probably operate without a starting point guard next year. And trying a SG or SF at PG just doesn't usually work.
  24. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 03:39 AM) The greatest would have gone on the air, said screw Chicago, screw Miami, Cleveland was the best team last year, they will be the best team this year, and Im going to win a championship if I single handedly have to drag my team there. This is perfect, and I loved when Wilbon asked him if winning a ring in Miami would be as sweet as winning in Cleveland.
