  1. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:19 AM) Who said that? Reading Peavy's lips.
  2. QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:18 AM) After seeing Zumaya blow his out, hopefully isn't that bad. I pray I'm wrong, but Peavy's injury there is about the most obvious elbow injury you'll see. It sucks, he was really crisp tonight.
  3. QUOTE (jphat007 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:17 AM) Looked more like his side. It looked like Ozzie asked him if he's ok, and Peavy said it popped. It's tough to tell based on the replay. If it's his side though, he had no difficulty walking.
  4. He said he heard a pop! Oh boy, see you in 2012 Jake...lots of positive vibes just went out the window.
  5. Oh boy, Peavy just blew out his elbow!!
  6. Hunter on drugs? Quite a strange series for him so far.
  7. QUOTE (BearSox @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 02:12 AM) Yep, but he hasn't been nearly the defensive liability some feared he would be thus far. agreed, and that's definitely a play you learn as you get experience.
  8. I can't see James doing this unless he stays in Cleveland.
  9. That's a play that Viciedo needs to make...needs to learn how to throw it over to first without winding up.
  10. Very nice swing by Rios on the sac fly. Thought it was gone off the bat, ball's not jumping like last night.
  11. Nice steal by Pierre, but I don't know what Alexei was doing that AB. Took fastballs down the plate and he was adjusting way too much in the box.
  12. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 10:03 PM) I don't think he's a lost cause for the rest of the season. I actually think we need him. Do you want Lilly and Omar out there at second, and heaven forbid, Teahen? At this point, yes. I'm the biggest Beckham fan on this planet outside of his family and his wife Victoria, but he's been a complete disaster this season.
  13. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 09:58 PM) Why do you want him set down so much? I don't understand why that is the cure all? Have him sit a while and hopefully the competitive juices will take over. Then maybe he'll start hitting. Personally, I want him sent down to see if he can show if he even knows how to hit anymore. I'm not scared of him going down there and sucking, as right now, he's a total bust and a lost cause for this season. Something needs to be done to get him on the right track for the next few years. Josh Fields and Caruso never recovered, and I'm scared that Beckham is next in line.
  14. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 10:58 PM) Boozer would give the Bulls a low post threat, but fathom I remember how much you roasted him in that playoff series against the Lakers. That's what you'll have to put up with him against bigger guys. I hate Boozer's game with a passion. Adding him to the Bulls, along with Redick would be spending a lot of money for a team with a ceiling around 5th place in the Eastern Conference.
  15. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 10:58 PM) At this point I'm tempted to tell all three of them to go f*** themselves and just sign Boozer and Reddick and save the rest of the damn money for a possible trade later on. 3 Duke starters....yay!
  16. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 10:55 PM) If Miami can get Haywood in a sign and trade, and still have the assets to get Bosh along with keeping Wade, I consider them the favourites b/w them and Chicago. I don't even think Haywood would make Bosh/Wade change their mind either way. It's pretty simple...if Raptors decide to do the sign-and-trade with Miami for the Beasley, Chalmers, package, then Carlos Boozer will be the Bulls main FA acquisition.
  17. Bosh not going to Cleveland is very bad news for the Bulls, IMO
  18. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 10:51 PM) This guy has it right. I'm not saying the Sox are right with this, as I agree that no one would really care about Andruw Jones. However, based on stuff I heard in the offseason, as well as what Hawk was saying earlier in this year, I'm confident that the organization thinks Jones reaching 400 is an important milestone. Just wait, when he hits 399, he'll be playing every home game.
  19. Nothing like making it easy for the opposition's manager by having 2 of your 3 lefties hitting back-to-back.
  20. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 09:39 PM) Let's hope Rios will be in the lineup and hitting third with Quentin scratched. I trust Kotsay more than Rios right now. Rios seems to be behind in the count 0-2 every AB.
  21. Quentin's out, Rios is playing. Might not be too bad to see a huge thunderstorm, as this is a dreadful lineup. I can't believe the idiots that were calling up the postgame last night saying our offense is fine now.
