  1. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 21, 2010 -> 04:16 AM) Jones is trying to hit everything he swings at 700 ft. Yep, he's worthless now with his approach.
  2. Haha, Hawk with the frustrated reaction there.
  3. Wow do our hitters not capitalize on a lot of hittable pitches.
  4. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 21, 2010 -> 04:02 AM) He supposedly is a real great guy, but he truly is one of the most boring players I've ever seen. There''s nothing to get excited about. He reminds me of a player that would have been solid in the 50s and 60s before the introduction of weight lifting/supplements/etc
  5. Flowers really struggling in May.
  6. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 21, 2010 -> 03:56 AM) Even JR called the Division winning team of 2008 boring. They were boring the second half of 2006, boring in 2007, boring in 2008, boring in 2009 and maybe have even taken it up a notch in 2010. Something has to be done. This "I believe in the talent" BS needs to stop. It's ironic that 5 years later, the World Series match-up might be the two franchises with the worst outlook in all of baseball. Miserable teams with terrible farm systems.
  7. Ho hum, ANOTHER hitless game for Beckham. SEND HIM DOWN! If Starlin Castro goes 8 for his next 90, they will have the same batting average.

This isn't a spoiler, rather an intriguing idea that would make for an interesting finale. What if Walt returns to the island to kill Flocke before he has the chance to say anything to him?
  9. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ May 21, 2010 -> 02:29 AM) He's also a very good pitcher. Very good? Mark Buehrle or Danks would be someone I classify as a very good pitcher.
  10. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ May 21, 2010 -> 02:28 AM) So why praytell is Rios who is one of our only good hitters not playing tonight. Is this so Ozzie can get his toy Kotsay in the lineup. Thing is, I'm ok with Kotsay playing against a guy with a good slider. What I'm not ok with is playing someone like Jones who I think I could get out with an offspeed pitch. I don't think it even matters anymore, as I'm not even sure Ozzie is trying to really win.
  11. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 21, 2010 -> 03:26 AM) If KW ever has to find someplace to go on Christmas, I'm sure the Teahen family will take him in, considering the $15 million gift he handed them. The part that makes me giggle is that it was the first trade announced as soon as the WS ended. It was like the Royals were so excited to get rid of him, they jumped at the chance to complete the deal.
  12. Hey J4Life, how often do you watch the MLB Game Mix? Got it on now watching great MLB pitchers like Lincecum, Kershaw, Jimenez, and Randy Williams.
  13. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ May 21, 2010 -> 03:23 AM) Lost has been on my mind lately, and i am a huge fan. I think purge is the right word for this though. It's not exactly a firesale, just an elimination of parts. Screw that, this team needs a complete overhaul. There used to be a time where I would have cried a little on the inside if you told me Quentin could be traded or Jenks could be gone. There's not a single player in this organization I'd lose sleep over if we traded.
  14. QUOTE (TitoMB @ May 21, 2010 -> 03:23 AM) Mark Teahan can go f*** himself. First pitch swinging, popup out. What an awful approach at the plate there. If he was playing in a smaller park, he'd have more home runs this season....like in Williamsport.
  15. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ May 21, 2010 -> 02:22 AM) Why at least he is a good pitcher. I get upset when some bum dominates us. I have my hopes up for a no hitter
  16. Should be interesting seeing Josh Johnson dominate us on Sunday.
  17. QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ May 21, 2010 -> 03:18 AM) Jimenez pulled after 7 with 92 pitches thrown...that can't be good Konerko having a nice night he looks like he does not even want to be there. Yeah, the body language that AB was bad, even for PK. Outside of that Seattle series, I feel awful for our fans. Our home games have been absolutely miserable.
  18. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ May 21, 2010 -> 02:17 AM) I'd prefer Reinsdorf to finish his pitch to Lebron, and then focus on ordering KW to purge payroll, get younger, and fix this s***. You use purge in every post you make...Lost fan, are you?
  19. Peavy really is the white Javy Vazquez.
  20. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ May 21, 2010 -> 02:13 AM) This team is going to give the 2007 team a run for its money for suckiness. The sad thing is that Kenny couldn't pull the plug in 2007, and I don't think he will here. He is committed to this rebuild on the fly methodology that isn't working. He can't go young. If anything he will trade whats left in our farm for something that he thinks will bounce us next year. I am ready for Hahn to take over. I think he absolutely blows this up. And yes, I'm so ready for new points of view in this organization. It's just not working for the KW/Ozzie/Walker trio.
  21. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ May 20, 2010 -> 03:54 PM) I never noticed how big they were in general. They're absolute hammers in the breast feeding picture, but they are big normally, too. I never thought of her having big ones at all. Sadly she lost all of her boobs after breast feeding.
  22. Wow, Peavy with just an awful start tonight. His fastball is flat once again.
  23. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ May 21, 2010 -> 02:07 AM) According to his hitting coach, he is fine mechanically. Its just a mental thing. Maybe he can help them meditate and hope their swing fixes itself on its own. The only thing I can see about sending Beckham down is to get him away from the trainwreck. It's just so painfully obvious what's wrong with both of their swings. I might throw my computer the next time I see Beckham ground out back to the pitcher.
