  1. QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 04:15 AM) Swing harder next time maybe Aardsma has him set up for the slider.
  2. Wow, that was very close. Thought that was gone with the way he was running with his back to the field.
  3. QUOTE (iamshack @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 05:10 AM) Yes, I do...and the sad thing is I am paying for it because I live in Vegas (Extra Innings package)... Honestly, can anyone even begin to explain how this happens to us so often? Even with different players? This August swoon where we can't do a damn thing? There's one constant...Greg Walker
  4. QUOTE (iamshack @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 05:04 AM) Q will fly out meekly to center field and scream f***!! at the top of his lungs. Funniest thing I've read in a while. Oh, and I also think Seattle will hit a solo homer in the bottom of the 8th, probably Gutierrez.
  5. - Konerko will strike out on a 3-2 slider that's a foot off the plate. He will then shake his head back to the dugout as Stoney talks about how Aardsma didn't use to have confidence in that pitch - AJP will hit a deep fly to Ichiro in right field. Hawk will yell stretch 5 times on a ball that lands 10 feet in front of the warning track. Hawk will then talk about how Griffey Jr. told him the ball doesn't travel well here, and that he was one of the most exciting players he's ever watched. - Quentin will get hit by a fastball, and Hawk will freak out that Aardsma should be tossed and that something needs to be done about this. They will cut to Ozzie in the dugout who is chewing his gum and looks like he's thinking of how excited he'll be to see Hineybird with the Tribune in a few weeks. - Alexei will foul off two fastballs from Aardsma, and then he'll K on a slider 2 feet off the plate.
  6. QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 05:01 AM) You could have scripted this game before it started down to almost every hitter True...let's predict the 9th inning
  7. QUOTE (Brian @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 04:00 AM) He obviously would of went yard if we didn't pick up Rios. I wonder what he would have done if I was having sexual relations with my wife instead of watching.
  8. QUOTE (tommy @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 03:59 AM) We don't deserve to win this game. Sorry for John, pitched a great game tonight. We don't deserve to win the AL Central this year. We're a .500 team, and there's really nothing that we do that's above average.
  9. QUOTE (iamshack @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 03:55 AM) Just trying to lighten things up a bit, didn't mean to insult anyone... As a White Sox fan, if you try to sleep with a girl that you've never been with before, it's sure to go very bad.
  10. QUOTE (Friend of Nordhagen @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 03:50 AM) Ah, I don't know. I'm not listening to those guys. I'm monitoring Hawk's nightly mentions of Yaz and Mickey Mantle. It's always a close race. Fantastic posts by you lately
  11. Pods hasn't hit a ball hard in a long time. He looks so tired at the plate.
  12. QUOTE (Kenny Hates Prospects @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 04:45 AM) Listening to the radio and I can't remember the last time I've listened to a game pitched by Miguel Batista where the announcers haven't gone on and on about him being, in this case, "a Renaissance man" who plays music and yadda yadda yadda. I can't wait until this guy is retired. Ditto with Mark Hendrickson and announcers always talking about him being a former basketball player. STFU and start ripping the team. Batista is supposed to be the nicest person in baseball, along with Thome.
  13. I need to rip on Getz's ability to walk more often. On the bright side, at least Pods can't hit into a DP this at bat.
  14. QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 04:41 AM) Hahaha, what the f*** else can you even do anymore but laugh I mean this sincerely, but at least we have 2010 to look forward to. Hopefully Rios comes in and shows some real ability and takes the CF position for good.
  15. Damn, you could see that coming with all the movement on his pitches down in the zone.
  16. We got one hit against Fister, and it was an infield hit. That's disgusting.
  17. It's exciting to see Danks pitch very well though. Really want to see him end the year on a strong note and head into 2010 as one of the best #3 in all of baseball.
  18. QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 04:36 AM) Good job Danks, not that is f***ing matters I'm so happy you're posting more in here.
  19. QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 03:31 AM) Rios and Peavy have to be wondering WTF have I gotten myself into here.... I'm excited to see Rios play, but he's generally regarded as one of the laziest players in baseball. He'll love this type of effort.
  20. Am I allowed to say I would be thrilled to see Greg Walker leave when the veterans leave the organization also? It's so frustrating seeing the offense go to sleep after the ASB every season.
  21. Wow Konerko, just take a seat for a few days.
