QUOTE (Capn12 @ Jun 5, 2008 -> 03:42 AM) Hmm....who is after Dotel, if needed...lets win this game already. Loaiza?

Hopefully Soria's done for the night. Hopefully Crede's not out for a while.

Logan for a batter, and then Dotel?

Playing some bad baseball tonight. White Sox Baseball: we only try to steal with 2 strikes!

If this goes to the 13th, you have to let Logan get the first batter.

QUOTE (Friend of Nordhagen @ Jun 5, 2008 -> 03:27 AM) Methinks that the book on Boone is to bunt on him -- must be in the scouting report from that game in Tampa Bay two years ago. Great memory...I was going to say his fielding has come a long way. Great job by Logan!

Yikes...that was an odd play. Great job by Crede!

Nice scoop by PK...Logan has that first pitch bunt defense down.

QUOTE (soxfan3530 @ Jun 5, 2008 -> 03:23 AM) thought that was a gapper there off the bat. They were playing no doubles...another thing Anderson should have known. With Gathright out there, he got to the fence very quickly. Oh well, not going to be mad at Anderson for at least trying.

Sox had some good swings and good pitches to hit against a tough pitcher there.

I wonder if Alexei has enough power to hit one out to right center?

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Jun 5, 2008 -> 04:19 AM) Far from a perfect throw, Hawk, and still out by a lot. You just knew he'd go for 3rd, and you just knew he'd be out easy. He lost his stride going around 2nd. He was a step past 2nd base when the cutoff man had the ball.

Ouch, terrible call on the 2-0.

Typical Sox extra inning swings so far. Dye gets a pitch right down the plate, and swings straight up.

Maybe the 2nd best reliever in the AL is in, after Mariano.

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jun 5, 2008 -> 04:10 AM) Um, Brian Anderson is winning the game in the bottom of this inning. It's fate. Have to find a way to face a Royals pitcher not named Ramirez or Soria.

Jenks starting to throw that change-up more. I would have loved to see some games of his when he was a starter. Good inning for Jenks, let's go CQ! I want to see a bat flip!

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jun 5, 2008 -> 02:57 AM) While Buck simply proceeds to turn around and tag Alexei out. Give me a break. The ball tricked away from Buck, there was still time to go back and touch the plate. The job for the on deck hitter is to get behind the catcher (first base side) and point to where the hitter needs to slide to. If you look at the replay, PK was on the 3rd base side still. It all happened so quickly though, it's just fundamentals that you hope they learn from.
