Especially since he's been off today.
Our hitters psyche themselves out against Santana. A perfect example was Dye's AB in the first inning. I don't know what he was looking for.

*searches for a positive*
At least I can pay full attention to the Masters now.
Well, if Erstad struggles against LHP, maybe Anderson will get a start this year.
We let Santana off the hook early with terrible ABs by Dye and Uribe. I still can't believe we couldn't find a spot for Eduardo Perez on this team. We've looked pretty miserable against LHP so far this year.
I guarantee this is the only time you'll hear me say this during the season, but it won't bother me if we lose today. Of more importance is that Danks shows he can be a competent starting pitcher in the majors.

The Sox love the pickoffs at 2B.
It's probably the most commonly messed up play in all of baseball. I think it has to do with the angle the 2B or SS is at, and how they don't have a lot of room to catch the ball with the runner taking up the entire 3rd base side of the bag.
Nice pitch at the knees after about 8 straight fastballs above the belt. Will Ozzie try to get cute and let Thornton face Mauer? I don't recall that working out to well last year.

howd Javy look? i seen he gave up 4 walks and a hit, over 6.
Terrific considering the small strike zone this ump has.
Some disappointing uppercuts the last few innings. Ozzie should have Sisco go to the mound, and make the Twins have a righty hit for Tyner, and then bring in MacDougal.
