  1. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 07:04 PM) Fields would most likely have the same results as Thome, although he wouldn't be batting 4th. Lefties bat .200 vs Redman, and righties are around .325
  2. Another day, another less-than-intense performance by our hitters. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 07:02 PM) It's not like Ozzie would use him.... Yep, why panic now? I mean, this offense is consistently going out there and putting up 7 runs on 12 hits a game now.
  3. The annoying thing is that we don't even have a righty on the bench who we could DH today. I hope that AAA title is important enough to not promote Fields yet.
  4. QUOTE(Texsox @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 06:56 PM) Well f***, blow a golden chance to score a few and then give up a gopher ball. Love this team This offense is just terrible right now. The sad thing is that we don't even come close to hitting the ball hard.
  5. QUOTE(BearSox @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 06:52 PM) Thome shouldn't even have been in the lineup today. And why is he batting 4th vs the lefty anyway? And the only thing Redman is good at is facing lefties.
  6. Good job by PK...now Garcia has to hold the Royals down. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 06:33 PM) #30 for PK Might as well let him rest till the Angels series. Were going to be facing some pretty crappy pitching against Boston and Cleveland, we can get by without him. Besides, he's pretty much useless right now If the Indians pitchers we'll be facing are crappy, then I don't want to know how you'd classify the Sox starters.
  7. It's pointless having Thome in the lineup right now.
  8. Our recent pull baseball approach, combined with Redman throwing a ton of offspeed pitches, will equate to a busy day for Berroa.
  9. Jenks was amazing tonight. I've never seen him pitch inside like he was doing. Nice win, now lets come out with some intensity tomorrow and win the series.
  10. Nasty stuff by Jenks! That's the best control I've ever seen from him. It wasn't pretty, but a nice win.
  11. QUOTE(El Barto @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 01:27 AM) I just have to add that Calvin Johnson is the man. That is all. He's the most talented player in college football, and one of the best looking wide receivers I've ever seen. Reggie Ball is a horrendous QB...if he played with a great QB, he's put up sick numbers.
  12. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 01:26 AM) How well has Thorton been throwing lately? Not great
  13. MacDougal got the slider over at the perfect time.
  14. MacDougal in for his 2nd inning isn't the greatest of options. I just don't want to see him get hurt again.
  15. QUOTE(beautox @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 01:10 AM) man what can't gload do, aside from play RF Freeze on a liner
  16. Anderson's crappy AB hurts, and KC has made some spectacular plays tonight.
  17. Gload....you deserve to start the rest of this season.
  18. Nothing is ever a routine fly ball against us. Good job by MacDougal though. BTW...Calvin Johnson is amazing.
  19. I love that Buerhle's out of the game, but I don't get why it wasn't Thornton with 2 of the 4 hitters being lefty.
  20. Terrible by Dye. I'd pull Buehrle now, and put in our big 3 relievers. Buehrle's giving up too many runners tonight.
  21. We have 9 outs to try and comeback in this game. The good news is that Garcia's on the mound...so the Royals have a great chance at the sweep if they win tonight.
